Is this job info correct?

Apply Description About Us Mix Talent was built to support the near-term goals and long-term success of pharma, biotech, HealthTech, and gene therapy organizations. We recognize the power of our clients’ company culture, and we specialize in identifying, recruiting, assessing, selecting, placing, and developing talent that fits and fortifies that culture. As our name demonstrates, we believe it’s essential to find that right mix of skills, experience, personality, and personal motivation to ensure long-term success. And to do that, you need to do it differently. Our unique mix of knowledge, technology, and instinct has helped clients go beyond just hiring headcount to truly creating dynamic organizations. The secret’s in the mix. Our connected lines of business include recruiting and executive search, strategic talent consulting, behavioral assessment and coaching, and Mix Contract Talent Organization (Mix CTO), our contract talent subsidiary that designs, builds, and manages outsourced field and functional teams for life sciences clients. The Opportunity The Vice President of People Experience is Mix’s senior Human Resources executive and a member of the executive leadership team reporting to the Principal, Head of Business Operations at Mix Talent, accountable for the enterprise People strategy across Mix Talent and its Mix Contract Talent Organization (“Mix CTO”) subsidiary. The role leads a multi-faceted PX function supporting both Mix’s internal team and client-sponsored field and functional teams, with two Director-level leaders responsible for enterprise People operations, total rewards, HR technology, talent acquisition, workforce planning, talent development, and employee experience. A substantial portion of this role supports Mix’s client-sponsored workforce solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. Mix designs and operates comprehensive staffing solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech organizations including full commercial field force deployments, and the Vice President of People Experience is the executive accountable for the people architecture underneath them. That means designing the employment, compensation, and compliance model for each client-sponsored team; ensuring co-employment and multi-state obligations are handled correctly at scale; standing up the onboarding, manager readiness, and retention programs that determine whether a launch succeeds; and managing the full lifecycle through expansion, redeployment, reductions in force, and contract wind-down. This role is also client-facing: partnering with Business Development on RFPs and finalist presentations and serving as executive sponsor for the people side of every new client implementation. What Success Looks Like Success requires someone who can translate business strategies into scalable people programs, exercise sound judgment in balancing team member needs against business objectives and organizational resources and be equally credible in an executive team meeting and in front of a life sciences client. Builds scalable PX infrastructure that supports Mix’s continued growth and the expansion of Mix CTO client-sponsored teams. Strengthens the people architecture behind client implementations, including onboarding, manager readiness, retention, compliance, and workforce transitions. Creates clear, data-informed visibility into engagement, retention, workforce risk, compensation, productivity, and organizational health. Serves as a credible executive partner internally and externally, balancing client needs, team member experience, employment risk, and business outcomes. Responsibilities Enterprise People Strategy & Executive Partnership Serves as a trusted advisor and member of the executive leadership team, partnering on organizational strategy, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, budgeting, culture, enterprise risk management, and key business decisions. Develops and executes the enterprise People strategy by designing scalable HR programs, organizational structures, succession plans, talent investments, and workforce initiatives that support long-term business growth. Utilizes workforce analytics and key performance indicators to inform executive decision-making related to recruiting, engagement, retention, compensation, productivity, and organizational performance. Partners with internal leaders to design and implement learning, leadership development, succession planning, and talent management programs that improve engagement, performance, and retention. Commercial & Client Partnership Partners with Business Development and executive leadership to support RFPs, client presentations, solution design, and evaluation of new business opportunities within the contract talent space and represents Mix as its senior Human Resources executive in client meetings and finalist presentations. Serves as the executive sponsor for all people-related aspects of new client implementations, including workforce planning, onboarding, compensation design, compliance, manager readiness, and ongoing operational support and builds the scalable HR infrastructure that supports multiple client-sponsored commercial teams across pharmaceutical engagements. Partners with Operations leadership to successfully launch and support client programs, including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, compensation administration, workforce transitions, redeployment, reductions in force, and client contract wind-downs. Balances client expectations with employment law, co-employment considerations, contractual obligations, and Mix employment practices. Total Rewards, Compliance & Risk Owns the enterprise Total Rewards strategy, including executive compensation, incentive design, benefits, broker relationships, recognition programs, and market competitiveness and sets the direction for the benefits, HR technology, and vendor portfolio that the People Experience team administers. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, client contractual obligations, and industry-specific workforce requirements and owns the HR policy framework, including credentialing, licensing, and co-employment practices, minimizing organizational risk through sound practice, leadership guidance, and partnership with legal counsel. Team & Function Leadership Leads, develops, and holds accountable the People Experience team, including two Director-level leaders, and builds bench strength and succession within the function.
