Led by a leadership team that has been together for over 10 years, you will join a proven team, culture, and strategy to drive innovation within the IT outsourcing industry while developing your skillset with the opportunities for internal growth.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President, Presales & Solutioning to lead and scale our presales and solution architecture capabilities across the Enterprise Transformation practice.

This is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving the end-to-end presales lifecycle, shaping enterprise technology solutions, leading complex pursuits, and ensuring proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially competitive, and executable.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of life sciences industry expertise, enterprise technology knowledge, commercial acumen, and consulting leadership experience. This individual will work closely with practice leadership, sales, delivery teams, and strategic technology partners to develop differentiated solutions that address complex client challenges.

Beyond leading strategic pursuits, the VP will build and develop a scalable presales organization, establish consistent solutioning and estimation practices, and support the continued growth of Slipstream's enterprise transformation business.

Key Responsibilities

Presales Leadership & Strategic Pursuits

  • Lead complex RFP/RFI responses, strategic pursuits, client presentations, solution workshops, and executive-level discussions.
  • Develop differentiated solution strategies and compelling value propositions aligned with client business objectives.
  • Partner with sales and practice leadership to qualify opportunities, shape pursuits, and improve competitive win rates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams involving solution architects, technical specialists, delivery leaders, and business stakeholders.
  • Establish effective pursuit governance, prioritization, and resource planning processes to support a growing pipeline.

Enterprise Solution Architecture & Technology Leadership

  • Provide leadership and oversight for enterprise solution design across Veeva Vault CRM, Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, enterprise integrations, data migration, analytics, AI, and managed services.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, practical technology solutions and implementation approaches.
  • Guide solution architects and technical teams in developing solution designs, reference architectures, implementation strategies, and reusable accelerators.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with client requirements, technology capabilities, industry best practices, and delivery constraints.
  • Collaborate with Veeva, Salesforce, and other strategic technology partners on joint opportunities and solution development.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in life sciences commercial and medical technology.

Estimation, Pricing & Commercial Solutioning

  • Own the development and validation of project estimates, staffing models, implementation timelines, and delivery approaches.
  • Establish standardized estimation methodologies and reusable solutioning frameworks across the practice.
  • Work closely with practice leadership and finance to develop commercially competitive proposals aligned with profitability objectives.
  • Evaluate onshore, offshore, and hybrid delivery models to optimize cost, quality, and execution.
  • Identify and address scope assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, and delivery risks during the presales process.
  • Ensure technical and commercial alignment across proposals, pricing models, and Statements of Work.

Proposal Development & Statements of Work

  • Lead the development of high-quality technical proposals, RFP responses, and Statements of Work.
  • Establish standardized proposal templates, scope libraries, estimation tools, and reusable content.
  • Ensure proposals and SOWs clearly define objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with sales, legal, finance, and delivery leadership to ensure consistency between proposed solutions and contractual commitments.
  • Establish formal solution reviews and delivery-feasibility checkpoints before proposal submission.
  • Ensure effective transition of approved solutions, estimates, and project assumptions to delivery teams.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing presales and solutioning organization.
  • Develop solution architects, presales specialists, proposal professionals, and technical leaders.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, performance expectations, and accountability across the presales function.
  • Implement resource planning and prioritization practices that balance presales demand with delivery commitments.
  • Create scalable processes, knowledge repositories, and reusable solution assets to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Foster a collaborative culture focused on technical excellence, commercial discipline, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Growth & Partner Collaboration
