The Vice President of Product, Entertainment Experience is tasked with driving the vision and success of four key areas, to help reimagine streaming for the next generation of fans:

  • Discovery: Rethinking the end-to-end discovery experience of how users find and decide what to watch or play next, leveraging Gen AI’s deep understanding of our content and our key customer cohorts
  • Playback: Innovating within playback and in the experience of live sports, movies and TV shows, to deepen engagement and create the best possible fan experience
  • Mobile Entertainment: Creating differentiated mobile experiences that offer users compelling new forms of engagement beyond streaming - from games to podcasts - including by partnering with startups and third parties
  • Devices: Optimizing the user experience across platforms, and leaning into capabilities and user expectations for discovery, interaction and playback on different devices, including the next generation of AR/VR devices

We are looking for an experienced and versatile product leader who can be strategic while also developing a growing product team in a competitive consumer landscape. A successful candidate will be creative to look at problems in new ways, disciplined in using experiments and proof of concepts to validate hypotheses, collaborative to get things done across a matrixed organization, including wider Comcast and Sky businesses, and an excellent communicator.

This role will lead a team of ~20 product managers, report to the SVP of Product and UX, and partner closely with teams across the organization to increase engagement (e.g. watch time per user, frequency, viewing diversity) across our customer base.

In this role, you will:

  • Set a vision and strategy for how users engage with Peacock across all devices (TV, mobile, web, next generation devices), through a mix of new features, enhancements, and innovations.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a growing team of product managers focused on the above areas, and align them around a shared vision and goals.
  • Have a keen sense for good UX/design and the ability to make evidenced-based decisions using consumer insights, product analytics, competitive and market analysis.
  • Collaborate with product design, merchandizing, data, marketing, content, and strategy teams to develop holistic points of view, and confidently make product decisions.
  • Partner with project management and technology teams in the US and Europe to set roadmaps and deliver high quality products.
  • Ability to translate the complex into simple and make compelling executive presentations and demos that explain product vision and strategy.
  • Make business cases for incremental product investment that drives innovation.
  • Build product features that can scale and adapt to global market needs and territory specific requirements.
  • Partner with Personalization teams to drive maximum engagement and Ad Innovation teams to ensure we best monetize viewing feature opportunities.
  • Help build a product culture at Peacock and inspire the next generation of product leaders.

  • Minimum of 15 years of product strategy/management experience within the media or consumer technology space
  • Minimum of 8 years successfully leading a team of customer centric product managers
  • Experience in content streaming strongly preferred
  • Consumer-centric view with a proven track-record of developing and acting on customer insights
  • Significant experience with A/B testing, hypothesis validation, user testing, and analytics
  • Track record of successfully operating within a highly matrixed work environment, managing multiple stakeholders
  • Experience building products across multiple platforms (iOS, tvOS, Android, Roku, Amazon)
  • Ability and self-motivation to work effectively offsite and onsite and with global, multi-lingual teams
  • Ability to lead and inspire alignment to a shared vision and outcome through collaboration
  • Strong analytics skills and a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving
  • Proven ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing priorities, with tight deadlines, balancing short term progress with long term thinking
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • BA/BS degree in relevant field is highly desired

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
