Do you crave a career that truly makes an impact in people’s lives? Do you thrive on problem-solving and finding solutions? Join a dedicated, tight-knit team that creates an immediate and meaningful impact every day

Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Vice President, Provider Network Management on our Provider Network Management team. You will build and sustain the provider network that enables QTC to deliver timely, high-quality care and examinations where they are needed most. Use provider data, market intelligence, recruiting, credentialing, provider experience, and performance management to identify access and capacity gaps, close them systematically, and continuously strengthen network readiness.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of more than 130 staff and set the enterprise provider network strategy, ensuring the right mix of providers by geography, specialty, licensure, modality, and capacity to meet customer demand and operational commitments.
  • Establish a disciplined network-gap management process that uses provider, referral, utilization, recruiting, credentialing, and operational data to identify and prioritize access and capacity gaps; assign accountable owners; and track measurable progress toward closure.
  • Direct provider recruiting and sourcing strategies based on quantified network needs, with targeted approaches for hard-to-fill specialties, rural and underserved markets, high-volume locations, and time-sensitive operational requirements.
  • Oversee the provider readiness lifecycle - including onboarding, credentialing, privileging, background investigations, training, and system access - with a focus on reducing cycle time, improving provider experience, and preventing avoidable capacity gaps.
  • Partner with operational and business leaders to anticipate and respond to changing demand, including surges, new program launches, recompetes, and expansion into new markets, ensuring provider capacity and readiness are aligned before they affect performance.
  • Strengthen provider engagement and retention by improving the provider experience, clarifying expectations, reducing administrative friction, and using performance and feedback data to address recurring barriers to participation.
  • Develop scalable approaches for managing employed and independent providers, using common standards, workflows, data, and performance measures while accounting for the operational differences between workforce models.
  • Advance provider network technology, analytics, and partnerships that improve visibility into network health, recruiting pipelines, credentialing status, gap closure, provider communications, and access to differentiated capabilities.
  • Build an integrated enterprise provider network across Leidos QTC and the broader Leidos Health Group, reducing duplication, sharing capacity and capabilities, and promoting consistent provider processes and experiences across programs.
  • Serve as a senior enterprise resource on complex provider and network issues, bringing together Clinical Operations, Growth, Quality, Compliance, Legal, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve barriers and make timely decisions.
  • Lead a high-performing provider network organization focused on mission delivery and growth, establishing clear priorities, measurable goals, accountability, and a culture centered on access, provider readiness, continuous improvement, and the ability to support new customers and innovative, community-based care models.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Health Administration, or an equivalent field, with 20+ years of relevant professional experience. 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 7 - 10 years of specific experience leading provider network, provider recruitment, healthcare operations, workforce, access, or related functions in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated success using data and analytics to identify operational or network gaps and translate findings into measurable improvement.
  • Strong understanding of provider recruitment, credentialing/privileging, onboarding, provider lifecycle management, and network adequacy principles.
  • Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams and/or complex provider networks with multiple workforce models.
  • Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across Clinical, Operations, Growth, Finance, IT, Quality, Compliance, Legal, and other functions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to move complex issues to resolution with urgency and appropriate escalation.
  • Ability to balance enterprise strategy with operational execution and translate ambiguous or rapidly changing requirements into practical action.
  • If applicable, must be able to pass a federal background check and/or obtain and maintain additional clearances as specified by the contract (e.g., NACI, PIV, SMS, TMS).
