The Impact You’ll Make in This Role The VP, Regional Marketing, IPSS, is accountable for translating global portfolio and downstream marketing strategy into region-specific execution that accelerates growth drivers, improves market penetration, and strengthens customer engagement to drive inorganic opportunities. This role serves as the primary marketing partner to Regional Business Leaders and Sales, ensuring commercial priorities, investments, and go-to-market programs are aligned with regional market dynamics and customer needs. This role is ultimately responsible for delivering the most powerful, clinically relevant message in support of our key products and for overcoming obstacles to commercialization within the regions. Internally, this role is positioned as the regional extension of Global Downstream Marketing, closest to customers and responsible for execution, optimization, and feedback to global teams. You will work closely with Upstream Marketing, Strategy & Business Development, and the IPSS Leadership Team to align shared resources against a common annual execution plan and drive new product launch excellence, along with inorganic opportunities within the regions. As the VP, Regional Downstream Marketing for the IPSS business, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact through: Regional Commercial & Marketing Leadership Own and execute the regional marketing plan in alignment with global downstream marketing strategies and regional business priorities. Serve as the primary marketing interface to Regional Business Leaders, Sales leadership, and key cross‑functional partners. Ensure marketing programs drive measurable growth, ROI, and market share expansion in priority segments. Go‑to‑Market Execution Lead regional execution of global campaigns, NPIs, and demand‑generation initiatives, adapting messaging and tactics to local market needs. Drive sales enablement by translating global value propositions into regionally relevant tools, content, and programs. Ensure launch excellence for NPIs through coordinated planning, training, and activation across the region. Budget Ownership & ROI Management Own regional marketing budgets, including allocation to cross-functional initiatives, tracking, and reprioritization in alignment with growth objectives. Partner with Finance and Global Marketing to improve visibility, governance, and ROI reporting on marketing investments. People & Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of regional marketers. Set performance expectations, provide coaching, and foster skill growth. Champion the continuous improvement of downstream marketing skills, capabilities, processes, and tools. Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and strategic and financial rigor. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher AND 10 or more years of marketing-related experience. OR High school diploma/GED AND 20 or more years of marketing-related experience. AND In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required: 5 or more years of senior marketing leadership experience in regional and multi‑country roles. Strong background in downstream marketing, go‑to‑market execution, and global sales enablement. Proven ability to manage budgets, prioritize investments, and demonstrate ROI, both long-term and within the fiscal year. Experience operating in matrixed global/regional organizations with critical shared resources. Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
