You can navigate complexity, build consensus, and turn strategic priorities into tangible outcomes. You thrive in an international, fast-paced environment and bring the cultural awareness and interpersonal skills needed to lead effectively across a globally connected organization like SICK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop a regional team of People Business Partners, fostering strong collaboration with business leaders and ensuring effective support across the organization.
- Represent the region on the extended People & Places management team and contribute to the development and implementation of global People strategies.
- Ensure effective People Business Partnering across all organizational units, including senior-level support for management teams within the Sales & Service Clusters (SSCs) and Product Centers (PCs).
- Partner with business leaders and decision-makers to align People priorities with business strategy and organizational needs.
- Work closely with business leaders to drive business performance and organizational effectiveness by translating business priorities into targeted People initiatives and organizational measures.
- Ensure the timely, compliant, and efficient delivery of regional People services, leveraging Shared Services, standardized processes, and digital solutions.
- Drive consistency in People practices across legal entities while accounting for local labor laws, regulatory requirements, and cultural differences.
- Ensure effective regional governance and compliance with global standards and local regulations.
- Oversee risk management related to People processes and employment practices, identifying potential risks and driving appropriate mitigation measures.
- Enable the business through flexible, effective People processes that support the strategic priorities of the SICK Group.
- Oversee regional People financial steering, including personnel cost development, profitability, FTE planning, and KPI tracking.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key People metrics, translating data into actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with Shared Services and Global People teams to continuously improve People processes, systems, and service delivery.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A master’s degree in HR Management or a related discipline is highly desirable.
- At least 15 years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role within a multinational organization.
- Proven track record of leading complex, multi-country HR operations and managing regional People functions.
- Demonstrated success in driving organizational transformation and strategic HR initiatives.
- Strong expertise in HR strategy, organizational design, and talent management.
- In-depth understanding of regional labor laws, regulatory compliance, and cultural diversity.
- Experience in employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in employment law, change management, and leadership.
COMPENSATION:
The base salary is one component of SICK’s total rewards package and is determined within an established range. The starting base salary range for this position depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, performance, licenses and certifications, business needs, and other job-related considerations, as permitted by applicable law.
