Job Overview

We're not looking for a video editor. We're looking for someone who makes ads that sell.

If your reel is beautiful but you can't tell me which hook won and why, this isn't the role. If you've ever watched a CPA drop because you cut two seconds off the front of a video, keep reading.

Who we are

ParetoLeads runs paid acquisition for home service businesses across the US, Australia, and Israel. Every video we make exists to produce a lead at a profitable cost - nothing we make is for brand awareness, sizzle reels, or awards.

Fully remote, flexible hours, no micromanagement.

What you'll actually do

You own the video end to end. We hand you a brief - offer, audience, angle, what we're testing and you come back with a finished ad:

• Write or adapt the script and hook.
• Source footage, or generate it with AI when no footage exists.
• Edit, pace, caption, sound design, motion graphics, color.
• Cut multiple variants per concept so we can test hooks, openers, and CTAs.
• Deliver in the right specs for Meta, YouTube, TikTok.
• Read the performance data after launch and iterate on what it says.

You will not be handed a storyboard and a folder of clips. You'll be handed an idea.

AI proficiency is not optional

A large share of our footage is generated, not filmed. You need real fluency with current AI video and image tools - generating clips that look authentic rather than obviously synthetic, upscaling, cleanup, voice, and stitching generated material into live footage without the seams showing.

You're a fit if you have

• A portfolio of paid social ads, not brand films and you can talk about how they performed.
• Proven ability to work from a written brief with no hand-holding.
• Strong editing chops in Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci, CapCut, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with AI generation tools in a production workflow.
• An instinct for direct-response: hook in the first two seconds, clear offer, obvious CTA.
• Reliable communication and delivery in a remote, async environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with home services, local lead gen, or high-intent B2C offers.
• Comfort writing your own scripts and ad copy.
• Basic understanding of Meta and YouTube ad mechanics.
