📌 JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are hiring 2-3 remote video editors based in Nigeria to join our YouTube content team on a monthly retainer. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO EDIT 2 HOUR LONG VIDEOS

This is a consistent, ongoing role — not a one-time project. We produce long-form recap videos (1-3 hours per video) and need reliable editors who can deliver polished work on a weekly schedule.

All source material is provided to you: voiceover audio, image panels, background music, and sound effects. Your role is to assemble these assets into an engaging, viewer-ready video following our established SOP and template.

What You Will Do:

• Sync image panels to voiceover narration with precision timing

• Apply zoom, pan, and mirror effects to create visual movement and engagement

• Layer background music and sound effects at balanced levels

• Apply video filters (noise/grain overlay) per our style guide

• Work from a provided Premiere Pro template project for every video

• Export finished videos at YouTube-optimized settings (1080p, H.264)

• Upload completed work to Google Drive and communicate delivery via WhatsApp

• Respond to revision feedback and deliver corrections promptly

Compensation:

• Base: ₦15,000 per completed and approved video

• bonus of #15,000 per video submitted within a week [ Video Must meet Quality standards]

• Performance bonus: Up to ₦30,000 per video based on YouTube view milestones

• 3-5 videos assigned per month (guaranteed work)

• Unlimited overflow: pick up additional videos after completing your assigned batch at the same rate

• Data stipend provided after 1 month of consistent, on-time delivery

• Payment via bank transfer to a Nigerian bank account

All new editors start with a paid trial of 1-2 videos. Continued engagement depends on trial performance, communication, and reliability.

Requirements:

• Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 or newer (non-negotiable)

• Computer capable of handling long-form video editing (8GB RAM minimum, 16GB preferred)

• Stable internet connection for Google Drive transfers (downloading 200-500 MB, uploading 5-15 GB per video)

• WhatsApp availability for team communication — must respond within the same day

• Ability to deliver 1-2 videos per week consistently

• Strong attention to detail, particularly audio-visual synchronization

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

• Based in Nigeria

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience editing long-form YouTube videos (30+ minutes)

• Experience with Ken Burns-style pan and zoom effects
