About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and reliable Volunteer Video Editor to join our team and help us turn ideas and existing content into engaging, easy-to-consume videos.
You’ll work with our content team to edit both short-form and long-form content for our social media platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
Editing short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
Repurposing long-form videos and audio into shorter, engaging content pieces.
Turning long-form content into simple clips, snippets, audiograms, and social media-ready videos.
Adding captions, transitions, B-roll, sound effects, music, and other elements where necessary.
Working with the content team to bring video concepts and scripts to life.
Maintaining consistency with our brand style and content direction.
Suggesting creative ways to make videos more engaging and suitable for different platforms.
Organising and delivering edited content within agreed timelines.
What We’re Looking For
Basic to intermediate video editing skills.
Experience with tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, VN, or similar editing software.
Good understanding of short-form content and social media trends.
Ability to tell a story through editing.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Creativity and openness to feedback.
