About the Role

Thumbpin Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing, storytelling, social media content, and current video trends.

You will be responsible for turning raw footage and creative ideas into engaging videos, reels, advertisements, and other digital content for Thumbpin.

Key Responsibility

• Edit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and social media content.
• Edit and assemble raw footage with strong pacing, storytelling, transitions, music, and sound effects.
• Add captions, subtitles, text animations, graphics, transitions, and visual effects.
• Create videos in different formats such as 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9.
• Perform basic color correction, audio editing, and video optimization.
• Create basic graphics and visual elements using Adobe Illustrator.
• Repurpose existing content into multiple short-form video formats.
• Follow brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in fonts, colors, graphics, and overall visual style.
• Coordinate with the content, marketing, and creative teams to understand video requirements.
• Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.
• Stay updated with Instagram, YouTube, and social-media video trends.

Required Software Skills

Mandatory:

• Adobe Premiere Pro – Strong knowledge
• Adobe After Effects – Good working knowledge

Good to Have:

• VN or CapCut
• Adobe Photoshop
• Canva
• Basic motion graphics knowledge

Requirement

• 06–2 years of experience in video editing; freshers with a strong portfolio can also apply.
• Good understanding of video editing principles, storytelling, pacing, transitions, and sound.
• Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to create engaging short-form/social-media videos.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio/showreel is required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
