We're growing the creative team at Fadmus Africa and looking for a talented Video Editor to join us.

At Fadmus, we're building technology that helps Africans discover and access global educational opportunities.

As we grow, storytelling is becoming an increasingly important part of how we connect with our audience.

We're looking for someone who understands more than just cutting footage. Someone with a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, visual quality, and creating engaging digital content.

What we're looking for:

• Experience editing short-form and long-form video content
• Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of pacing, sound design, color correction, and visual storytelling
• Experience creating captions, transitions, and motion graphics
• Ability to collaborate, take feedback, and meet deadlines
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous work

Remote Work Requirements

As this is a fully remote position, applicants must have:

• A personal computer capable of running professional video editing software efficiently.
• Reliable, high-speed internet with sufficient data capacity to regularly download and upload large video files. Unlimited broadband access is strongly preferred.
• A dependable electricity arrangement that supports consistent productivity.
• Access to a suitable, distraction-free working environment.

Please note: Candidates are expected to maintain their own internet connectivity and editing equipment. The agreed monthly compensation will account for these requirements, and no separate recurring internet or equipment allowance will be provided.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

• Monthly salary: ₦200,000 – ₦350,000, depending on experience, portfolio quality, and technical proficiency.
• Fully remote position.
• Candidates must have their own capable editing computer and reliable, high-speed internet suitable for transferring large video files.
• Compensation is inclusive of standard remote-working expenses. No separate recurring internet or equipment allowance is provided.
• Performance and compensation review after the first 3 months.
