Do you have an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for creating health education that is clear, engaging, accessible, and truly useful to patients?

A leading producer of health education videos seeks a Video PE/ADA/QC Reviewer & Writer to partner with its Studio Team to help ensure video content meets high standards for patient education, accessibility, microlearning, and overall quality.

The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as a key reviewer throughout the video production process, while writing and supporting the broader production effort as needed. The candidate will review video scripts and rough cuts to ensure content adheres to defined guidelines and best practices for patient education (PE), microlearning, ADA accessibility, plain language, and the needs of patients and caregivers.

At a later stage in production, this person may also conduct final quality control (QC) reviews of edited videos, identifying issues that need to be corrected before delivery.

The role may also include revising existing scripts and, once trained in established standards and processes, writing complete health education video scripts.

Extreme attention to detail is essential for this position, as is prior experience developing, reviewing, or writing medical or patient education content.

This is a full-time position that is primarily remote. Interested candidates should submit a resume/CV and relevant writing or patient education work samples.

Duties & Responsibilities

● Evaluate content from the perspective of patients and caregivers to ensure it is clear, inclusive, understandable, respectful, engaging, and useful

● Provide clear, actionable feedback to producers, writers, editors, animators, and other members of the Studio Team

● Perform final QC reviews of edited videos, checking audio, visuals, graphics, captions, on-screen text, continuity, and other content elements

● Ensure requested changes are accurately incorporated into subsequent versions of scripts and videos

● Follow established review checklists, guidelines, workflows, and documentation processes, applying standards consistently across a high volume of content

● Revise and update existing health education scripts as needed

● Once trained, research and write complete short-form health education video scripts, translating complex clinical information into clear, engaging, patient-friendly content

● Collaborate with producers, writers, editors, clinical Subject Matter Experts, and other internal team members throughout the production process

● Manage multiple reviews and assignments while meeting production deadlines

● Support other content and video production activities as needed
