About the Client The client runs two businesses: a business coaching and consulting practice, and a tax planning practice. He currently splits his time roughly evenly between the two, but his focus is shifting toward growing the tax planning business over the next six to nine months, with an eventual wind-down of the coaching business. The VA will support administrative work across both sides of the business during this transition. Role Overview The client is looking for his first Virtual Assistant to take administrative tasks off his plate and help him stay on track day to day. Beyond task support, a key part of this role is accountability: regularly checking in with Rich to review what needs to get done, following up on progress, and helping him plan next steps when things slip. This is a part-time role starting at 10 hours/week, with room to grow as trust and workload build. Key Responsibilities • Manage calendar and schedule meetings across both businesses • Keep his inbox organized and reply to routine emails on his behalf • Hold regular check-ins with Rich to review daily/weekly to-dos and follow up on outstanding items • Provide general administrative support for both the business coaching and tax planning practices • Handle light calling or follow-up as needed (minimal volume expected) • Support ad hoc admin tasks as the tax planning business scales Skills & Tools • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing calendars and inboxes independently • Proactive communicator who can hold someone accountable in a professional, friendly way • Experience with standard scheduling and email tools (e.g. Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, Calendly) • Tax, accounting, or bookkeeping experience is a plus but not required • Comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day supervision Contract & Logistics • This is an ongoing role, not a fixed-term contract — candidates should expect long-term placement • Starts at 10 hrs/week with potential to grow to 20 hrs/week based on fit and workload • Must be available for regular overlap with Central Time business hours Why Join Assist World? 100% REMOTE $50 birthday bonus $200 testimonial bonus NO TRACKER.
