Virtual Assistant - Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with a strong background in commercial solar energy systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solar energy solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and engineer commercial solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant engineering standards and codes.

Perform computer simulations and analysis of solar energy projects using specialized software to optimize system performance.

Develop detailed electrical schematics, layout drawings, and specifications for solar energy systems, including system components and electrical interconnections.

Conduct site-specific engineering analysis or evaluation of energy efficiency and solar projects involving residential, commercial, or industrial customers.

Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.

Participate in the development of design and installation standards and quality assurance procedures.

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as mechanical and structural engineers, to ensure seamless integration of solar energy systems.

Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure successful implementation of solar energy projects.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in the solar energy sector.

Support the company's business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar design and electrical engineering within the commercial sector.

Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, including PV and energy storage technologies.

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and solar design tools.

Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
