Job Description

Visa’s Internship Program provides an immersive, 12-month journey where you’ll work on impactful projects that drive Visa’s mission forward. As a Visa intern, you’ll build valuable connections across the organization, sharpen your communication and business acumen, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment.

Throughout the program, you’ll have access to interactive workshops and learning sessions designed to deepen your expertise, expand your industry knowledge, and elevate your professional skillset. You won’t just be learning: you’ll be contributing, collaborating, and innovating every step of the way.

The experience culminates in a final presentation, where you’ll showcase your project achievements, share key insights, and present your recommendations to Visa’s leaders and stakeholders. This is your chance to demonstrate your business impact, highlight your personal growth, and align your work with Visa’s vision for the future.

Visa Acceptance Solutions

The Visa Acceptance Solutions (VAS) team helps clients grow and optimize their businesses through sales, business development, product innovation, and market insights. As a VAS Intern, you will support initiatives across the sales cycle and collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify opportunities, strengthen value propositions, and enhance commercial execution.

You will contribute as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team, gaining exposure to multiple areas of the business. Throughout your internship, you will have opportunities to apply analytical skills, strengthen collaboration capabilities, and develop experience in client-focused projects within a global environment.

All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Some job duties and projects could include, but are not limited to:

• Client collaboration and profitability enhancement: Support the Sales team in analyzing market opportunities, assisting with recommendations for product development, marketing actions, and strategies designed to help clients achieve growth and profitability goals
• Business development support: Contribute to commercial analysis and business case development for Visa Acceptance Solutions products and services
• Brand strengthening: Coordinate with Marketing on activities that maintain and elevate Visa’s market presence and reputation
• Competitor and market monitoring: Track competitor activities and market developments, including relevant partnerships or acquisitions, to identify trends and potential opportunities
• Product and service understanding: Build knowledge of Visa solutions to support client discussions and demonstrate value propositions
• KPI tracking and reporting: Consolidate and monitor key performance metrics for the Sales team, preparing clear reports and insights to inform decision-making
• Project coordination: Assist in planning, follow-up, and documentation of business development initiatives, collaborating with diverse internal teams

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between November 2027 and March 2028
• Written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices
• Basic understanding of business analytics methods and tools
• Foundational skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with additional data analysis tools is a plus

Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to learn quickly and approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail and curiosity about digital payments and business development
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and managing priorities effectively
• Customer-focused approach combined with strong interpersonal communication skills

Additional Information

INTERN ONLY: Work Authorization: Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position. Future sponsorship will not be considered.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

This is a hybrid position. The role is based out of the Buenos Aires office. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
