We are hiring a VMO Specialist (Temporary Position)
About The Role
We are looking for a
VMO Specialist to join our TechHUB in Lisbon!
HAVI Technology's Vendor Management Office (VMO) is the mandatory entry point for all technology vendor engagements. The VMO governs the full vendor lifecycle and operates as the coordination hub between Technology functional areas, GBS Sourcing and Legal.
The team is small and the demand is high. We are bringing in an additional specialist on a fixed-term basis to increase capacity across the full scope of the function.
This is a hands-on role with real organisational exposure. You will work across active vendor relationships, live contracting cycles, and ongoing governance programmes - including interactions with HAVI's parent group, Morgan Street Holdings, and other group companies.
The Skills
To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:
- 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, contract management, or a related governance function within a technology environment
- Familiarity with technology services commercial models (consulting, development, managed services, staff augmentation)
- Ability to read and assess commercial contracts - identifying risks and open points without being told where to look
- Strong understanding of contract structure: liability, SLAs, payment terms, data protection, IP ownership
- Clear, professional written English - you provide insights and engage stakeholders in a way that move things forward, not create more questions
- Organised and self-directed, able to manage multiple open workstreams simultaneously
- Comfortable operating where not everything is defined - you create structure, you don't wait for it
- Experience working in or alongside Procurement, Legal, or Sourcing functions
- Experience with vendor scorecards or performance management frameworks
- Experience in a global organisation with multiple legal entities and group structures
- Fluency in English
