- Join us for a 30 minutes call to learn more about our organisation and what we need
- Help us designing employee and volunteer layout and structure on Canva
- Incorporate the content provided into the design and help with typesetting
- Make changes based on our team’s comments and create a final digital copy
- Proficiency in Canva
Background
The New Normal Charity Hong Kong provides peer-to-peer support groups and mental health resources to help individuals navigate grief, mental health challenges, and life transitions. As our charity grows, we need to ensure our incoming volunteers and staff are well-equipped, aligned with our mission, and supported from day one.We have drafted all the necessary text and content for both our Volunteer Handbook and Employee Handbook. However, we need a skilled volunteer to take this raw content and transform it into two beautifully designed, professional, and easy-to-read digital PDFs that reflect our brand's warm and supportive identity.
What We Have
To make this process as smooth and efficient as possible, we will provide: Complete Copy/Text: Fully written and edited content for both handbooks in Word/Google Docs format. Brand Guidelines: Clear instructions on our brand colors, typography, and tone of voice. Design Tools & Templates: Access to our Canva Pro account (or working files in your preferred tool like InDesign/Figma). Visual Assets: High-resolution photo libraries, logos, and graphics ready to use. Direct Point of Contact: A designated team member to answer questions, provide feedback, and facilitate quick reviews.

Scales Our Impact: Standardising our onboarding allows us to train and empower more peer facilitators and staff efficiently, directly increasing the number of support groups we can run across Hong Kong.Strengthens Organisational Culture: Clear, beautifully designed handbooks build trust, set clear expectations, and make our team feel valued and professional right from their first day.Saves Vital Resources: Professional design support allows our core team to keep our time and funds focused directly on delivering free mental health services to the community.
