🚀 JOIN THE FOUNDING TEAM OF INMATEJUSTICE

Building Technology for a Fairer and More Accessible Justice System

InmateJustice is a justice-tech initiative using technology to help vulnerable people access legal support, bail assistance, case information, and pathways to fairer outcomes.

We are currently building our early team and looking for passionate people who want to contribute their skills to something meaningful from the ground up.

We are currently recruiting for:

- Social Media Manager
- Content Creator
- Graphic Designer
- Community Builder & Outreach Lead

⚠️ IMPORTANT: FOUNDING & UNPAID ROLE

These are founding team positions, not conventional employment roles.

At this stage, the roles are unpaid because InmateJustice is still in its early development and fundraising stage. Team members are expected to contribute based on their availability and capacity while we work toward securing funding.

Once funding is secured, our goal is to transition key founding contributors into appropriate paid roles, subject to funding, performance, organizational needs, and the agreed structure.

As an early team member, you will have the opportunity to help shape the organization, build your portfolio, take on leadership responsibilities, and be considered for future paid positions as the initiative grows.

1. 📱 SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage InmateJustice's social media strategy.
- Plan and maintain a consistent content calendar.
- Manage platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
- Increase awareness of InmateJustice and its mission.
- Monitor engagement, audience growth, and campaign performance.
- Engage with followers and build meaningful conversations around access to justice.
- Work closely with the Content Creator, Graphic Designer, Community Builder, and other team members.
- Identify relevant trends, campaigns, partnerships, and opportunities for visibility.

We’re Looking For

- Experience managing social media accounts or communities.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and audience engagement.
- Good communication and storytelling skills.
- Passion for social impact, justice, technology, or community development.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with an early-stage team.

2. ✍🏽 CONTENT CREATOR

Responsibilities

- Create engaging content that communicates the InmateJustice mission clearly.
- Develop ideas for posts, articles, videos, campaigns, stories, and educational content.
- Simplify complex justice-related topics for everyday audiences.
- Create content that educates, informs, inspires, and builds public awareness.
- Work with the Social Media Manager to develop weekly/monthly content plans.
- Support campaigns, launches, fundraising activities, and awareness initiatives.
- Research relevant justice, legal access, human rights, and social-impact topics.
- Help develop InmateJustice's voice and storytelling style.

We’re Looking For

- Strong writing and storytelling ability.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with different content formats.
- Experience creating social media, video, educational, or campaign content is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate sensitive topics responsibly.
- Passion for social impact and meaningful storytelling.

3. 🎨 GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain InmateJustice's visual identity.
- Design social media graphics, campaign materials, presentations, flyers, reports, and other communication materials.
- Create visuals that communicate justice-related issues in a simple and human-centered way.
- Work closely with the Content Creator and Social Media Manager.
- Support branding for campaigns, events, partnerships, and product launches.
- Help establish design guidelines and maintain brand consistency across platforms.
- Contribute creative ideas to improve how InmateJustice communicates its mission.

We’re Looking For

- Strong graphic design and visual communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as Figma, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of typography, layout, branding, and digital design.
- A strong portfolio or examples of previous work.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to collaborate.

4. 🌍 COMMUNITY BUILDER & OUTREACH LEAD

Responsibilities

- Build and grow the InmateJustice community.
- Identify and engage potential supporters, volunteers, legal professionals, NGOs, advocates, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Develop community engagement strategies.
- Support outreach campaigns and partnership initiatives.
- Manage community communication channels and activities.
- Organize online/offline engagement activities where appropriate.
- Build relationships with organizations and individuals aligned with our mission.
- Gather community feedback and communicate important insights to the wider team.
- Help turn supporters into active contributors and advocates for the mission.

We’re Looking For

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence reaching out to individuals and organizations.
- Community management, partnerships, advocacy, sales, or outreach experience is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Passion for social impact and access to justice.
- Ability to represent InmateJustice responsibly.
