For a young charity like Unique Minds, every dollar counts, and a skilled grant writer is the key to unlocking the sustainable funding that turns our vision into tangible action.By joining us at this foundational stage, you won’t just be writing proposals—you’ll be building our internal DNA around fundraising strategy, teaching us how to tell our story compellingly so we can stand out to donors.Your expertise will bridge the gap between our passion for mental health and the practical resources needed to grow, ensuring that our impact is as strong and lasting as the minds we aim to support.

Our mission is to create and normalise inclusive learning environments that meet the individual needs of all children, especially those marginalised by learning differences. We provide sustainable support, resources, and advisory services to teachers, students, and parents to create belonging in every classroom and foster a culture of acceptance and empowerment. We are committed to developing comprehensive support systems that help every student thrive academically and personally.
What We Need
- Join us for a 1 hour call to learn more about our program seeking funding and our organization
- Review our overall fundraising strategy, suggest any advice and corresponding fundraising targets
- Identify and suggest (or make introductions if possible) any potential funders, donors or fundraising opportunities
- Assist in the grant writing process, drafting and proofing
- Volunteers with NGO fundraising experience is preferred
