Paid Time Off Company Paid Holidays Summary: The Vice President of New Market Development will report to the Chief Growth & Strategy Officer and will be responsible for leading the new market development activity for the enterprise. New market development activities include identifying and cultivating referral relationships with therapy practices, psychiatry practices, primary care practices, multispecialty physician groups, hospitals and other providers. Identifying and solidifying medical directors and foundational partner psychiatry practices is another major component of the work. This dynamic role is ultimately responsible for helping determine market prioritization for the enterprise along with crafting the go to market strategy in a given geography. This role will begin to execute on the go to market strategy while collaborating with the Operations and Clinical Outreach Teams to execute and pull through the strategy. This role will be instrumental in helping the enterprise reach its growth goals. Responsibilities: Assist in market selection and prioritization for the enterprise Co-lead new market development activities including referral source identification and development Identify foundational partner psychiatry practices that will have providers serve in medical director roles and pull through the execution of the pertinent legal agreements (medical director and clinical services) Create, build, and manage relationships with referral sources across priority markets Lead meetings with key external stakeholders that could include providers, large practices, health systems, large employers and payers Design strategies to help accelerate the organization’s growth Attend conferences and lead presentations at networking events Synthesize and share market feedback from partners, patients, and stakeholders to inform marketing and enterprise strategy Provide input and information that will inform site selection Other reasonable job duties as assigned. This job requires extensive travel; individual must not only be comfortable with > 50% travel but must embrace this aspect of the role. Virtual meetings are not a substitute for in-person relationship building Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree business or a related field 10 years of full-time professional experience in business development 5+ years in business development leadership role Demonstrable success in leading growth at an enterprise level or at a minimum multi-state level; would like to understand quantitative specifics of these results Highly effective at building relationships with physicians and other clinical providers Consultative sales approach with an emphasis on relationship building Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM, scheduling, and video conferencing technologies Experience measuring, analyzing, and being accountable to well-defined growth metrics/KPIs Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and listening skills, with an authentic approach Expert in advising, presenting to and persuading senior leadership A winning mentality!
