About the Role
Quidax runs two engines. A consumer platform that people trust with their money. And a B2B platform that businesses, fintechs, and developers build on. The VP of Product owns both and knows when to push one harder than the other.

This role isn't about balance for balance's sake. It's about making the right calls: where to invest, what to deprioritise, and how to sequence product decisions so both sides of the business grow. You'll need strong opinions, good judgment, and the spine to defend both when the room disagrees.

Key Outcomes (First 6–12 Months)

Your success will be measured by what you deliver:

• Defined a clear product strategy that serves our customers and guarantees customer value 100% of the time

• Grown revenue contribution across both product lines

• Reduced time-to-value for B2B merchants without degrading the consumer experience

• Built a product roadmap that's honest about trade-offs and has leadership aligned on them

• Led a product org that ships with intention, measures outcomes, and doesn't confuse motion with progress

• The quality and value of our products to customers

• Revenue contribution and growth rate

• Merchant activation and time-to-value

• API adoption, usage, and reliability metrics

• Product delivery predictability

• Team performance, engagement, and retention

Core Responsibilities (How You’ll Win)

Product Strategy & Execution:

• Define Quidax’s product vision across all product lines

• Translate commercial goals into clear product bets and roadmaps

• Prioritise ruthlessly, focus on what drives revenue, usage, and retention

Revenue & Growth Impact:

• Partner closely with Sales, Client Success, Partnership and Engineering to:

  • Increase merchant acquisition and activation

  • Improve product adoption and usage

  • Reduce churn and integration friction

  • Own product-led growth loops

Platform & API Excellence:

• Build reliable, scalable, and well-documented APIs developers actually want to use

• Improve uptime, performance, and developer experience

• Ensure security, compliance, and scalability are embedded

Product Organisation Leadership:

• Build and lead a senior product leadership bench

• Mentor the team and create an environment where the team can grow

• Set product operating rhythms: discovery, delivery, metrics, reviews

• Create a strong balance between being outcome driven and driving product stability in every motion and with limited resources.

Stakeholder Alignment

• Act as the product voice at the exec table

• Align leadership on trade-offs, sequencing, and investment decisions

• Communicate clearly with investors, partners, and internal teams

Skills & Experience

Must-Haves

• 10+ years in product leadership, with experience across both consumer and B2B/platform products

• Proven track record tying product decisions directly to revenue outcomes

• Strong commercial instinct - you know how products make money on both sides of a marketplace

• Comfortable making hard prioritisation calls in public, with data and without drama

• Experience leading product orgs through complexity, not just growth

Strong Advantage if you have

• Experience in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial infrastructure

• Built products for emerging markets or global scale

Reporting Line:

You’ll report directly to the CEO, partnering closely with the Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Compliance, and Finance leadership.
