About Us:

Automation Anywhere is the leader in Agentic Process Automation (APA), transforming how work gets done with AI-powered automation. Its APA system, built on the industry’s first Process Reasoning Engine (PRE) and specialized AI agents, combines process discovery, RPA, end-to-end orchestration, document processing, and analytics—all delivered with enterprise-grade security and governance. Guided by its vision to fuel the future of work, Automation Anywhere helps organizations worldwide boost productivity, accelerate growth, and unleash human potential.

Automation Anywhere is scaling its global go-to-market engine, and we are looking for a VP of Revenue Operations who can help make that growth more predictable, efficient, and data-driven. In this role, you will sit at the center of how the revenue organization plans, operates, and executes—connecting strategy, process, data, technology, and field execution across Sales, Channel, Customer Success, Renewals, Professional Services, Marketing, Finance, Solutions Engineering, and Deal Desk.

This is a highly visible executive role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. You will have the opportunity to strengthen the operating rhythms, planning processes, data standards, performance insights, and automation priorities that help leaders run the business with greater clarity and confidence. Your work will directly support stronger forecasting, healthier pipeline discipline, higher sales productivity, and more scalable execution as the company grows.

If you are a revenue operations leader who takes the time to understand what makes a business successful, builds trust with senior leaders, and knows how to scale what is already working, this is a meaningful opportunity. You will partner closely with the COO and go-to-market leadership team to strengthen the systems, processes, and operating rhythms that support growth while preserving the ways of working that make Automation Anywhere successful.

Location

Hybrid role with regular onsite workdays in our San Jose, CA office. Bay Area-based candidates preferred

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

  • Revenue planning and forecasting: You will lead the company’s revenue planning architecture, including the Annual Operating Plan, capacity planning, coverage models, weekly and quarterly forecasting, commit/upside/risk methodology, and executive forecast inspection. You will help leaders see risk early enough to act on it
  • Pipeline and performance management: You will define pipeline coverage expectations by segment, region, and territory; improve stage progression, aging discipline, and pipeline hygiene; and build early-warning indicators that help the business stay ahead of gaps
  • Territory, quota, and compensation governance: You will guide territory design, quota-setting, incentive structures, crediting rules, and dispute resolution in partnership with Finance, HR, and go-to-market leadership
  • GTM systems, data, and automation: You will help evolve the revenue technology stack and establish trusted data, dashboards, and insights across pipeline health, funnel conversion, rep productivity, expansion performance, renewal visibility, and customer trends
  • Executive operating cadence and cross-functional alignment: You will partner with Sales, Channel, Customer Success, Renewals, Marketing, Finance, Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, and Deal Desk to turn company strategy into executable plans, clear accountability, and measurable outcomes
  • Root-cause problem solving: You will identify recurring go-to-market friction, conversion breakdowns, retention risks, productivity challenges, and process gaps so the company can address underlying issues and scale more effectively

What You’ll Help Scale

  • A trusted revenue operating model: You will create a consistent cadence for forecasting, pipeline inspection, quarterly business reviews, annual planning, performance management, and executive decision-making
  • A clear GTM data foundation: You will standardize definitions, dashboards, metrics, and data governance so leaders can trust the numbers and act on them quickly
  • An AI-enabled RevOps function: You will use Automation Anywhere’s platform and modern revenue technology to reduce manual work, improve CRM hygiene, surface pipeline risk, accelerate reporting, and make planning, forecasting, compensation, territory, and quota processes easier to run at scale
  • A high-performing team: You will lead a RevOps team with clear ownership, strong operating rhythms, scalable processes, and a culture of accountability, quality, and business partnership

What Success Looks Like in Year One

  • Leadership trusts the forecast because the methodology, data, inspection cadence, and risk signals are clear, consistent, and actionable
  • A more predictable pipeline engine is in place, with clearer funnel visibility, stronger conversion-rate insights, and actionable interventions that improve progression from demand generation through closed revenue
  • The next Annual Operating Plan cycle is smoother, faster, and more data-driven, with stronger alignment across capacity, coverage, quota, pipeline, and revenue targets
  • GTM dashboards, data definitions, and pipeline hygiene standards are standardized across the organization and used regularly by executives and field leaders
  • Territory design, quota-setting, and compensation plans are delivered on time, with fewer disputes, clearer governance, and stronger seller understanding
  • Manual RevOps workflows are reduced through targeted automation, improving speed, data quality, and team capacity
  • The RevOps team has clear ownership, strong execution discipline, and the ability to run core operating processes independently
  • GTM leadership views RevOps as a strategic business partner that improves decision-making, accountability, and execution—not just a support function

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or go-to-market strategy, including at least 4 years in a VP-level, Head of Revenue Operations, or equivalent executive leadership role
  • Demonstrated ownership of the full RevOps remit at a B2B SaaS company, including forecasting, annual planning, quota-setting, territory design, compensation operations, pipeline management, and revenue technology
  • Experience scaling a GTM operations function in a complex environment, such as multi-product, multi-segment, global, enterprise software, AI, automation, or high-growth SaaS businesses
  • Deep fluency in Salesforce and modern revenue technology, such as Clari or equivalent forecasting tools, CPQ, customer success platforms, marketing automation, data visualization, and workflow automation
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to own a revenue model, lead quarterly business reviews, and present crisp pipeline and performance insights to executive leadership
  • A track record of driving alignment across Sales, Channel, Customer Success, Renewals, Marketing, Finance, and executive stakeholders—not just advising on it
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, setting clear goals, building capability, and maintaining a high bar for quality, accountability, and business partnership

You excel in these key competencies:

  • You use data to challenge assumptions, clarify tradeoffs, and drive better executive decisions
  • You create operating discipline without slowing the business down
  • You build credibility with field leaders by understanding how decisions affect sellers, managers, customers, and execution in the market
  • You move comfortably between strategic planning and operational detail
  • You bring structure to ambiguous problems and create scalable processes where none exist
  • You influence senior leaders through insight, judgment, and credibility—not authority alone
  • You hold stakeholders accountable to agreed standards while building trust and partnership
  • You are energized by continuous improvement and see AI and automation as practical tools for helping revenue teams scale with more speed, consistency, and focus

The base salary range for this position is $290,000 – $320,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
