About Jiga
Jiga is an AI-native manufacturing supplier that helps aerospace, defense and robotics companies get complex machined parts made by committed machine shops working as one. Teams at NASA, Collins Aerospace, Archer, Leidos and Siemens use Jiga for the parts their programs are waiting on. We're Series A, backed by Aleph and Y Combinator, and growing fast on a model with no bidding and no black box - the buyer sees, messages and audits the shop making their part.
Why this matters
AI is moving into the physical world. Every major program right now, in defense, aerospace and robotics, comes down to hardware, and getting the right part made is still one of the hardest, riskiest problems in manufacturing. A late or out-of-spec part can hold up a satellite launch or a drone program for months.
The US has the shops to do this work. Thousands of small machine shops, many of them excellent, sit underutilized, because there's no way for a 15-person shop and a satellite program to work together without someone in the middle chasing quotes and revisions by hand. The common answers are a black box with a bidding war behind it, or build megafactories. Our bet is that the capacity already exists and the missing piece is the layer that orchestrates it.
That's what Jiga is building: the AI infrastructure for the companies building the future to get the parts they need, and for the US to bring manufacturing back to the small shops that can do the work.
What you'll do
Build the process and coach to it
Turn how our best reps win an account into one process every rep runs
Call reviews and coaching
Scale the team
Hire the sales team on a proven profile
Own the number
Revenue plan, quota and forecast
The operating cadence: pipeline reviews, per-rep metrics and the comp plan, with our growth lead on revops.
Set the go-to-market
Who we sell to, who we don't, and how an account expands from a first order into a program.
Voice of the customer to product, marketing and supply chain, so what customers say shapes what we build and who we source.
Our culture
Remote-first. We don't count hours, we measure performance. We hate micromanagement and unproductive meetings. We play online games together, encourage hard questions, and fly everyone out once a year for a week-long offsite (Spain, Greece and Albania so far).
You're a fit if you
Built a sales system once already, as the leader accountable for it, in a business where the sale depended on fulfillment people had to trust. You can draw the funnel you inherited, what you changed and what you learned.
Coached reps up. You can name a rep who went from bottom half to quota under you and what you changed in how they sell.
Think in systems. You see the sales motion as one machine with feedback loops and lags. You look for the one change that moves every number downstream, build mechanisms rather than ask for more effort.
Have strong opinions on hiring. How to spot a great rep, what the first 90 days look like, what you fire for. And probably two or three people who'd follow you.
Think big and thoughtful on the sequence. You have a picture of the $1B revenue org and the next actions to get there.
This role is not for you if
You've only run sales where marketing built the pipeline and the product carried the sale.
Your last three roles were running established teams at $50M+ and you'd be inheriting a working machine.
You'd rather manage the cadence than write the process.
How to apply
Tell us about the sales system you built, with numbers.
