kAIgentic is building the intelligence layer for the world's most ambitious enterprises. Headquartered in Singapore with teams in India and Japan, our software platform helps large organizations evolve as fast as technology itself by turning the tacit know-how locked inside their people into safe, governed, AI-powered operations.
The hardest part of enterprise transformation is not strategy. It is execution. Institutional knowledge lives in people's heads, systems are fragmented, and risk tolerance is low. kAIgentic captures how work actually happens, designs better workflows, and runs them inside an intelligence layer that is observable, auditable, and engineered for the most regulated environments on earth. The outcome is an enterprise that continuously improves.
We are backed by SMBC Group as our founding partner and customer zero, and our platform is already being proven inside one of the most complex, regulated operating environments in the world. That means real problems, real data, and real production impact from Day 1.
kAIgentic turns how a bank actually works into workflows that run in production. We are building a Durable Execution Platform to run them. It will take a process captured from real operations, such as an AML alert disposition or a re-KYC case, and execute it step by step. Most steps are deterministic: rules, routing, calculations. Some call a model to read a document or reason over a case. Some pause for a human to review and approve. Every step has to survive restarts, resume where it left off, and leave a trail an auditor can follow years later.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll lead a small, senior team building the Durable Execution Platform, write production code alongside them, and own its architecture end to end. We want someone who has built workflow engines before and sees LLM steps as one more kind of activity that has to be made reliable. We don't want someone who sees workflows as scaffolding around an LLM.
This is one role at one level, offered under two titles, VP or Senior Principal Engineer, because the people who fit it come from both management and principal-engineer tracks.
What you'll do
Architect and build the Durable Execution Platform on Temporal, with workflows defined as data so new business processes ship as new definitions, not new deployments.
Keep the deterministic core deterministic. Rules, routing and state transitions must replay exactly. Model calls and external I/O stay isolated as recorded, retryable activities.
Build human-in-the-loop as a first-class primitive: review queues, maker-checker, escalation, and pause/resume across hours or days.
Solve the hard parts of long-running workflows: versioning workflows while they are in flight, idempotent side effects, compensation when a step fails halfway, and exactly-once delivery into downstream bank systems.
Capture a decision trace for every run: which rule fired, what the model returned, who approved. The trace should satisfy an auditor and also feed back to improve the workflow.
Work with our process-discovery (Rx) and design (Cx) teams to define the contract between a designed workflow and one running on the Durable Execution Platform, and guard that boundary.
Write and review code every week. Set the engineering bar for the team through the work itself, not only through process.
Hire and grow a small, senior team as the Durable Execution Platform takes on more workflows and customers.
What you'll bring
You have built or owned a durable workflow, orchestration, or rules engine in production. Examples: Temporal or Cadence internals, Camunda or Pega engine work, payments or trade-processing orchestration. You've dealt first-hand with replay, in-flight versioning, and idempotency.
You are hands-on today. You write production code, ideally Go, and you've led a team of roughly 5 to 12 engineers without stepping away from the code.
You've shipped systems where every automated decision had to be explainable after the fact, in banking, payments, insurance, or another regulated domain.
Nice to have
Experience putting LLM calls into production workflows with guardrails, evals, and fallbacks. Candidates with deep workflow experience can build this with us.
Familiarity with Japanese or APAC banking operations and regulatory expectations.
Experience delivering into bank-controlled environments: segmented networks, change control, in-bank connectors.
Why join kAIgentic?
We are a global team of builders who thrive in ambiguity, care deeply about the customers we serve, and believe the intelligence layer is how enterprise work will be reshaped over the next decade. We are building the connective tissue that lets large companies operate with the speed of a startup and the trust of an institution.
We look for people who:
Combine technical excellence with genuine customer empathy.
Are entrepreneurial and energized by zero-to-one problems with no playbook.
Lead with ownership, integrity, and collaboration, not titles.
Want to help define a new category of enterprise AI, not just ship inside an existing one.
Working here means being surrounded by peers who challenge assumptions, celebrate progress, and build with both courage and care.
Life at kAIgentic
Intelligence layer at the core. You will be shaping the substrate that turns institutional knowledge into governed, production-grade operations. This is enterprise infrastructure with real consequences.
Innovation at enterprise scale. Startup velocity meets the depth, scale, and stakes of mission-critical, regulated environments. Both are non-negotiable.
Ownership from Day One. Your work directly shapes the product, the culture, and the outcomes our customers see.
Learning and growth. You will work alongside seasoned leaders from leading enterprises who have built and scaled global businesses.
A culture of trust. Psychological safety, transparent disagreement, and disciplined experimentation are how we operate, not slogans on a wall.
Global collaboration. Teams across Singapore, India, Japan, Europe, and the US, working as one.
A mission worth the effort. Building something the world has not seen before: anintelligence layer that helps enterprises continuously improve how they run.
