Junior Client Success Manager · Guidepost

Full-time contractor · Fully remote · US Eastern hours · Reports to the CEO

Most account managers forward emails and read reports out loud on calls. We are not looking for that person.

Our clients are doctors who own cash-pay medical clinics. We are looking for the person they call first: the one who spots the problem before they do, tells them before they ask, and shows up with the fix already moving.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

Who we are

Our website says it plainly: marketing agencies suck. Most of them earned that reputation. We built Guidepost to be the exception. We are operators who learned marketing, and every campaign, funnel and call ties back to one question: did the clinic make money?

  • A US-based growth consultancy for cash-pay medical practices: regenerative medicine, orthopedics, hormone optimization, stem cell therapy.
  • Our clients' patients pay out of pocket for treatments that cost thousands. Cheap leads do not cut it. We need people who can pay and actually show up.
  • We run Meta and Google ads into webinar and lead-gen funnels built in GoHighLevel.
  • We work in pods: small, lean teams that own a group of clients end to end, with a strategist and shared GoHighLevel, design and video support behind them.
  • Our team is spread across the US, Latin America, Pakistan, India, the Philippines, Egypt and Kenya, with leadership in Atlanta.
  • Monthly client churn is under 1%. You would inherit relationships that work, not a book of angry clients.

The job

  • You own the relationship. The doctor emails you, Slacks you and gets on calls with you.
  • You turn requests into work. Every client ask becomes a ClickUp task the team can act on without a follow-up question, with the why attached. "Build a new landing page" is not a brief. "The heatmap shows people stop scrolling before the CTA, so the CTA moves above the fold" is. When it is something you can build, you build it.
  • You narrate the numbers. In two minutes, in plain English: what is working, what is not, and what is next.
  • You catch problems first. The client never discovers an issue we have not already told them about.
  • You spot the next win. Not a pitch. Arithmetic out loud with the client's own numbers until the next step is obvious.

This is not a messenger seat. You are client-facing first, but you also roll up your sleeves: from day one you build GoHighLevel automations, workflows and landing pages, and you use AI to do it fast. And if all you do on a call is read a report, you are not doing the job.

What a good month looks like

  • Every client in your book got a response within one business hour of reaching out and a real answer or a timeline within a day.
  • Every client request became a ClickUp task with enough context that nobody had to come back to you to ask what it meant.
  • You ran the client calls yourself. The CEO was not on them.
  • You built or fixed automations, workflows or pages yourself instead of leaving them in someone else's queue.
  • Your pod's daily client updates went out accurate, because you read them before they shipped and corrected the one that was wrong.
  • No client surprised anyone with a problem, and no client cancelled without the risk being visible weeks earlier.
  • You brought at least one expansion case built on a client's real numbers, or explained why the timing was wrong.
What we need from you

  • You live in AI tools, and you want to learn the next one. You use Claude or similar every day, you can show us how, and you pick up new tools fast. This matters more to us than anything on your resume.
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Our clients are US doctors. You will write to them and speak with them every day.
  • You get your hands dirty. You are comfortable building things yourself, not just asking someone else to.
  • You own outcomes. You have handled client relationships and can tell us what you kept, what you lost and why. Haven't owned a client book yet? Tell us honestly, and tell us about the closest thing you've done.
  • You bring bad news early, with a plan. You do not wait to be asked.
  • You write clearly and fast. If your writing needs a second pass to be understood, this is the wrong seat.
  • You can hold a doctor's respect. Calm, direct, prepared, unbothered by pushback.

You do not need to be a GoHighLevel expert on day one. We will teach you our ads and funnel setup, as long as you learn fast and are willing to build. Your core window is 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern, camera on for calls. Nobody counts your hours: we measure whether the standards are met.

Not required, but make sure to tell us if you have any of these:

  • Healthcare or high-ticket cash-pay client experience
  • GoHighLevel, or a similar CRM and automation platform
  • Zapier, Make or other automation tools
  • Meta Ads Manager
  • Briefing builders, designers or media buyers, and getting the work back right the first time

Pay and growth

  • Junior Client Success Managers start at $1,500 USD per month, plus a share of the pod's monthly bonus pool.
  • Raises follow responsibility, not tenure. More output and more responsibility earn more. Time served does not.
  • A 90-day review with the CEO, where we look at the results and set what comes next.
  • Find where you are strongest. Some people in this seat grow into leading a pod; others move toward strategy, ads or automation. Both are wins.
  • CSM to Strategist. This is a real step people here have been offered.
  • Earn more by carrying more. Cover more than one seat in your pod well and you earn more than one seat's share of the bonus.
  • Learn a niche most marketers never touch. Doctors as clients, four- and five-figure treatments. People who get good at this are rare, and they get paid like it.
  • Room to build, zero micromanagement. See a better way to run things? Say so and run it.

Terms: full-time independent contractor, paid semi-monthly in USD. 20 days of paid time off a year, including six US holidays, approved in advance. Fourteen-day notice, either party. Location flexible, Eastern hours fixed.

How we work

  • Reply to clients within 1 business hour, even if it is "got it, looking into it," with a real answer or a timeline within 24. Reply to internal Slack within 10 minutes.
  • Decisions live on the ClickUp task or in the client channel. Never in DMs.
  • Monday all-hands, 9:00 to 10:30 AM Eastern.
Skunks on the table

Every line is true. If one makes you want to close the tab, that is useful for both of us. If they make you lean in, you are probably who we are looking for.

  • This is a fully remote position. If you do not have a quiet, productive place to work from home with reliable power and internet, this is not the right role for you.
  • Going quiet is the one thing that does not work here. Missed a deadline? Tell us. Stuck? Say "I hit a wall." Problems get named the same day, in the open.
  • No recipe, and the structure keeps moving. We are "building the plane while flying it," and pods, seats and clients change as we grow. The first 2 to 3 weeks are quiet. The people who thrive start digging before anyone asks.
  • The CEO is direct. Plain feedback, expected back. He loves being challenged and hates silence.
  • Doctors push back, and quality beats volume. Our clients are smart, busy and spending their own money, so you hold your ground with evidence. A cheap lead who cannot afford a $4,000 treatment is not a win. Compliance is non-negotiable: no guarantees, no definitive claims.
  • You are the last set of eyes. Errors that should have been caught in QA come out of the pod's bonus pool, just as retention and expansion grow it.
Our values

  • Give a shit. We act like this is our business, because in a way it is.
  • Better before bigger. Scale is earned by delivering undeniable value.
  • Sincere candor. Candor is kindness. We speak the hard truth early.
  • Move fast. Fix it. We ship fast, but we do not move on until it is fixed.
  • Prove it works. If it has not been tested, it is still just an opinion.
  • Unimpeachable character. We do not lie, hide or cut corners, especially when it is inconvenient.
How to apply

Still reading? Good. That is the first test. Here is the second: follow these exactly.

  • Subject line: "I actually read the instructions."
  • A link to your resume as a PDF, named Lastname.Firstname.JuniorCSM.pdf
  • Your written answer: "Tell us about a client you lost. What did you see too late, and what would you do differently?"
  • A 2-minute Loom, camera on: why you want this role, and one real way you used AI in your work this week.
  • Send it all to: andrea+csmli@guidepostmarketing.com

We are genuinely excited to meet the person who reads this and thinks, "Finally." If you have a question before you apply, put it in your email and we will answer it. We cannot wait to see what you send.
