The Role
We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Assistant / Store Assistant / Logistics Assistant to support warehouse administration, store coordination, inventory records, logistics documentation, and routine supply operations. You will assist with tracking stock movements, organizing records, coordinating deliveries, updating operational systems, and supporting warehouse, store, and logistics teams.
This part-time, fully remote opportunity offers flexible working hours and exposure to warehouse administration, inventory management, logistics coordination, stock records, deliveries, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine warehouse, store, inventory, and logistics administration.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods, stock movements, transfers, returns, and deliveries.
- Assist with receiving, dispatch, storage, replenishment, and stock movement coordination.
- Update inventory systems, ERP platforms, spreadsheets, databases, and operational trackers.
- Maintain accurate product, SKU, stock, supplier, warehouse, store, and delivery information.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams, store teams, suppliers, logistics providers, drivers, and internal departments.
- Assist with preparing delivery notes, receiving records, dispatch documents, transfer forms, stock reports, and other operational documentation.
- Monitor deliveries, shipments, transfers, expected arrival dates, and outstanding logistics requirements.
- Verify product codes, quantities, shipment references, delivery details, and stock movement information.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, cycle counts, reconciliation, and variance tracking.
- Follow up on delayed deliveries, missing items, stock discrepancies, incomplete documents, and routine operational issues.
- Assist with coordinating stock replenishment and product transfers between locations where required.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of warehouse, store, inventory, and logistics documentation.
- Assist with supplier and logistics provider coordination regarding delivery schedules, shipment information, documentation, and routine updates.
- Conduct basic research and data checks relating to products, suppliers, delivery information, logistics requirements, and operational processes.
- Prepare stock summaries, delivery trackers, inventory updates, logistics reports, and routine management information.
- Assist with monitoring operational deadlines, delivery schedules, stock requirements, and pending activities.
- Support warehouse and logistics teams with data entry, document preparation, record maintenance, and administrative coordination.
- Identify discrepancies in stock records, delivery information, product quantities, and operational documentation.
- Contribute to improving warehouse administration, inventory accuracy, logistics tracking, and operational workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in warehouse administration, logistics, inventory, store operations, supply chain, or a related function is preferred.
- Understanding of basic warehouse, inventory, store, delivery, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, warehouse or inventory management systems, Excel, Google Sheets, databases, logistics platforms, and digital collaboration tools.
- Excellent attention to detail when handling product information, quantities, stock records, shipment details, and operational documents.
- Good numerical and data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple records, deliveries, stock requirements, and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective coordination and follow-up abilities.
- Good documentation and record-management skills.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify routine stock, delivery, and documentation discrepancies.
- Strong digital literacy and ability to learn new operational systems quickly.
- Reliable, proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
