Waste & Claims Analyst
At Fyffes, we are looking for a detail-oriented Waste & Claims Analyst to manage claims administration and support the accurate recording, recovery and reporting of waste and claims across our fresh produce operations.
This is a hands-on operational role requiring strong administrative ownership, analytical ability and cross-functional coordination. You will manage claims from initial receipt through to closure, working with Category, Quality, Finance and Logistics teams to ensure cases are documented, progressed and resolved efficiently.
What you’ll be responsible for
Manage Claims: Receive, classify and register claims relating to product quality, rejections, labels, packaging and transportation. Create and maintain complete case records and Halo tickets through to closure.
Collect Evidence & Complete Due Diligence: Gather, organise and validate supporting documentation, identify missing information and escalate exceptions or disputed cases.
Coordinate Case Resolution: Work closely with Category, Quality, Finance and Logistics teams to track actions, decisions and deadlines, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and outstanding requirements.
Support Financial Recovery: Ensure agreed payments, credits and recoveries are requested, followed up, reconciled and accurately recorded before each case is closed.
Analyse Claims & Waste Data: Maintain accurate records, monitor open-claim ageing and recovery status, prepare management summaries and identify recurring trends or opportunities to improve controls and ways of working.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Food Science, Quality, Agriculture or a related field; relevant practical experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Experience in claims administration, quality, supply chain, logistics, customer service, accounts receivable or a comparable operational role.
Experience within fresh produce, food or FMCG is highly valued.
Strong administrative ownership, attention to detail and document-control skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and multiple open cases.
Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder-coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience with claims, ticketing or ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.
Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English; German would be an advantage.
If you are organised, analytical and enjoy taking ownership of cases from initial investigation through to financial recovery and closure, we’d love to hear from you.
Why join us?
Gain exposure to some of the most important retail customers in the market.
Take ownership of your own customer portfolio from an early stage in your career.
Work alongside experienced leaders and cross-functional teams.
Be part of a collaborative team focused on growth, innovation and customer excellence.
Competitive Compensation Range: € 35,000 - 40,000
