💼 Role and main tasks
As a Project Manager you will support our company in reaching our goals and objectives related to sales, productivity, profitability and industry penetration.
The work is performed in close cooperation with different teams such as Product Management, Technology Architecture, Software Development and Operations teams. You will take strong own responsibility in delivering according to plan and with high quality. This position reports to Head of Project Management within the CTO organization.
Tasks and responsibilities
Manage internal projects/initiatives and customer facing projects
Plan, budget and secure resources for projects
Execute project to ensure key deliverables and acceptance
Interact with all key stakeholders in the projects and perform delivery follow-up, based on defined deliverables and KPIs
Be a key resource with regards to Telenor Connexion project execution process including compliance
Ensure viable maintenance of systems and technology either by Devops or handover to Operations
If required and based on experience, take on other leading roles in the project execution environment
Requirements:
Education in business, engineering, IT or equivalent experience.
You’ve been working in similar environments and have documented experience of leading projects and project management processes.
At least 5 years’ experience of project management, out of which, at least 3 should be within Telecom/IT. Applicants with substantially more experience are also welcome.
General technical understanding and knowledge of software development and testing methods, including agile methods.
Customer focused and business minded.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Strong communication abilities – both written and verbal.
Following experiences are meritorious:
Experience in leading projects and initiatives in an agile environment is qualifying as well as experience in agile transformation
Background in / understanding of different leading roles in an agile setup e.g. Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analyst
Experience in solution design and requirements work as well as experience in test methods/processes are qualifying
Knowledge of and experience from an IoT related area
Demonstrated interest in AI and how to use AI to streamline tasks and processes.
