Serving as a personal CFO for its clients, Fairway coordinates investment strategy, tax planning, cash flow, estate and philanthropic priorities, risk management, and next-generation planning to deliver comprehensive, highly personalized wealth management solutions. As of February 2026, the firm's 23-person team manages more than $3 billion in investment assets for approximately 300 families across more than 30 states, with advisors averaging 18 years of experience. Fairway is seeking a Wealth Manager to join its Wealth Advisory Services team. This is a fiduciary advisory role with no financial product sales and offers the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families. The Wealth Manager will take primary responsibility for assigned client relationships, delivering integrated wealth management advice across investments, tax planning, estate planning, cash flow, retirement, risk management, charitable giving, executive compensation, and business interests. This individual will work closely with clients and their outside professional advisors to ensure strategies remain coordinated and aligned with each family's goals. This is a hybrid role (4 days in office / Fridays remote). Primary Responsibilities: The Wealth Manager will serve as the lead advisor for an assigned portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, taking ownership of the client relationship and coordinating comprehensive wealth management strategies. This individual will collaborate with internal team members and external professional advisors to deliver thoughtful, integrated advice and an exceptional client experience. Some of the responsibilities of the individual in this role will include: Serving as the lead advisor and primary point of contact for assigned high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client families Developing and maintaining comprehensive wealth management strategies covering investments, tax planning, cash flow, retirement, estate planning, risk management, charitable giving, executive compensation, and business interests Providing sophisticated financial planning and investment advice with a focus on long-term goals and after-tax outcomes Coordinating with clients' accountants, attorneys, insurance professionals, trustees, and other outside advisors to ensure strategies remain aligned across disciplines Building and maintaining trusted, long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication, thoughtful advice, and exceptional responsiveness Leading client meetings and presenting complex financial concepts and recommendations in a clear and understandable manner Reviewing and guiding the work of associates and client service professionals supporting assigned client relationships Taking ownership of client deliverables, follow-up items, and ongoing planning priorities Developing referral relationships and identifying qualified business development opportunities to support the firm's continued growth Leveraging professional networks and centers of influence to cultivate prospective client relationships Contributing to the development and improvement of Fairway's wealth planning standards, processes, and overall client experience Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to support a team-oriented and client-focused approach to wealth management Participating in firm initiatives and contributing to the continued growth and development of the organization Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge across tax planning, estate planning, charitable planning, investment strategy, and other areas relevant to comprehensive wealth management Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Financial Planning, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, investment advisory, public accounting, private banking, or a related field Significant experience working directly with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients CFP® Certification or active CPA license required Strong technical knowledge across tax planning, estate planning, charitable planning, and portfolio strategy Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain referral relationships and contribute to business development efforts Existing book of business or established network of client and professional relationships is highly desirable Strong understanding of comprehensive wealth management and the ability to connect investment, tax, estate, and financial planning strategies Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound professional judgment Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Demonstrated ability to take ownership of client relationships and deliverables Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external professional advisors High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to fiduciary client service Desire to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented wealth management environment Commitment to continuous professional development and expanding technical expertise What Fairway Offers: Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits Growth-based bonus opportunities Health benefits and generous paid time off Volunteer time off (VTO) Parental leave Retirement contributions Sabbatical program Support for continuing education and professional development Complex and meaningful work with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families Long-term career opportunities with increasing client and firm leadership responsibilities Potential opportunity for equity participation for qualified professionals based on firm criteria A collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on delivering exceptional client outcomes The annualized “all-in” pay range for this role is expected to be between $150,000-$250,000 compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
