Job Description

We are hiring a full-time Shopify Web Associate to support the day-to-day management and front-end development of Shopify stores across a portfolio of DTC brands. This role is a mix of Shopify administration, merchandising, content updates, QA, and light front-end development. You’ll handle ongoing site requests while also making theme-level updates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Shopify experience, is comfortable working directly inside theme code, and knows when they can solve something independently versus when an issue needs to be escalated to a senior developer. Full-time. Fully remote. Must be ENGLISH-SPEAKING.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day Shopify administration, including product uploads, variants, collections, inventory tagging, navigation, discount codes, and scheduled content
  • Update banners, blog posts, landing pages, and other site content using theme blocks, page builders, and direct theme edits
  • Make front-end updates and customizations using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
  • QA website updates across desktop and mobile before they go live
  • Evaluate, install, and configure third-party Shopify apps
  • Troubleshoot site issues and escalate more complex development or integration problems to the senior web team when needed
  • Manage incoming website requests across a portfolio of DTC client accounts
  • Support A/B testing and pull website analytics as needed
  • Participate in client calls to understand feedback, clarify requests, and translate client needs into website updates
  • Create and update SOPs and internal documentation for recurring Shopify tasks and workflows

Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working in Shopify Admin and the Shopify theme editor
  • Working knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, and CSS with the ability to make targeted theme-level changes
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge
  • Experience managing products, collections, navigation, discounts, content, and other Shopify store operations
  • Strong QA skills and attention to detail when reviewing website changes
  • Comfortable troubleshooting front-end issues and determining when something requires senior development support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients
  • Comfortable following existing processes while also identifying when documentation or workflows need improvement
  • Must own and be able to use a working computer with high-speed internet
  • Must be ENGLISH-SPEAKING

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience working for an e-commerce or Shopify agency
  • Experience supporting multiple DTC brands
  • Familiarity with Shopify apps, integrations, and page builders
  • Experience supporting A/B testing or conversion rate optimization initiatives
