XRT Tech is a growing technology and digital solutions company providing website development, online ordering systems, SEO, digital marketing, POS solutions, and other technology services to businesses in the United States.

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer & SEO Specialist based in Egypt to join our team remotely. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong website development skills with advanced SEO knowledge and a proven track record of improving Google search rankings.

This is initially a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as XRT Tech continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain modern, responsive, and professional websites.
• Develop and customize websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Improve website speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
• Implement on-page, technical, and local SEO strategies.
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Optimize website structure, URLs, titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, schema markup, and website content.
• Improve clients' organic visibility and rankings on Google Search.
• Optimize and support Google Business Profiles and Local SEO.
• Monitor SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues.
• Manage hosting environments, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and website migrations.
• Troubleshoot website, hosting, performance, and integration issues.
• Maintain multiple client websites and projects.
• Provide regular reports on SEO rankings, traffic, performance, and completed work.

Must-Have Skills & Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web development, website design, SEO, or a combination of these areas.
• Strong experience with SEO is required.
• Proven track record of improving websites' Google rankings and organic traffic.
• Strong understanding of:

• Keyword research
• Competitor analysis
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Schema markup
• Internal linking
• Core Web Vitals
• Website speed optimization
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience designing and customizing WordPress websites.
• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first website development.
• Experience working with website hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and website migrations.
• Basic understanding of server infrastructure and system architecture.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot website and hosting problems independently.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Plus / Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with any of the following would be considered a strong advantage:

• Experience building websites for restaurants and local businesses.
• Advanced Google Business Profile optimization.
• Experience improving visibility in Google Maps and local search results.
• React and Node.js development experience.
• VPS hosting and basic Linux/server management.
• Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience integrating websites with payment systems, POS systems, online ordering platforms, or delivery services.
• Experience working with multi-location businesses.
• Experience managing multiple client websites from one hosting environment.
• Experience with SEO platforms such as:
• Ahrefs
• Semrush
• Screaming Frog
• BrightLocal
• Experience with conversion-focused landing pages and website optimization.
• Familiarity with Google Ads and Meta Ads is a plus, although this is not primarily a paid advertising role.

Schedule

• Part-Time: Approximately 20 hours per week
• Fully remote
• Position is intended for candidates based in Egypt
• Some overlap with U.S. Eastern Time may occasionally be required for meetings and project coordination.
