The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in WordPress and Bricks Builder, design-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of independently handling technical SEO and QA. ROLE OVERVIEW About the Client: A well-established mortgage lending company with 25+ years of experience in Texas and a growing nationwide presence. The company combines deep mortgage industry expertise with modern technology to deliver a seamless home-buying experience. About the Role: We are seeking a fast, accurate, and design-focused Web Developer & Technical SEO Specialist to own website development and technical SEO. You will build, optimize, test, and publish landing pages, loan-program pages, blogs, and case studies while maintaining strong brand consistency and site performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. WordPress & Bricks Builder Build responsive pages, templates, reusable components, and global styles using Bricks Builder. Maintain consistent typography, spacing, layouts, and branding. Build and publish landing pages, loan-program pages, blogs, and case studies. 2. Technical SEO, AEO & GEO Optimize site architecture, crawlability, indexing, redirects, Core Web Vitals, and page speed. Implement schema/structured data and optimize content for search, answer engines, and generative AI. 3. Analytics & Conversion Tracking Prepare landing pages for paid campaigns and verify forms, CTAs, URLs, and mobile usability. Implement and troubleshoot GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and conversion tracking. 4. AI & Quality Assurance Leverage Claude/MCP and AI tools to improve development, content, QA, and SEO workflows. Follow strict pre-publish QA processes and quickly resolve site issues. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Bricks Builder: Advanced hands-on experience building polished, responsive pages and reusable components. WordPress Development: Strong WordPress experience with themes, plugins, and site structure. Web Technologies: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Technical SEO: Strong knowledge of schema, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, page speed, AEO, and GEO. Analytics: Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console. Design: Strong visual sense, responsive design skills, and exceptional attention to detail. QA & Process: Fast, accurate, self-directed, and disciplined in following documented workflows. Portfolio: Must demonstrate modern web design, responsive layouts, and strong brand execution. Nice-to-Haves: Mortgage, lending, real estate, financial services, or regulated-industry experience. Google Ads or Meta Ads experience. Experience with Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, form/call tracking, and attribution. Experience with Claude, MCP connectors, or AI-assisted development workflows.
