Web Development Lead

We are currently looking for a Web Development Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role is excited about the challenges of building world-class web solutions, resolving technical issues, guiding clients in defining scope items and leading a team of junior colleagues. If this is you, you also need to have vast experience in building web solutions from scratch and knowledge of Javascript, NodeJS and/or Contentful, Gatsby, PHP. Responsibilities Work with the engineering team to develop technical requirements and system specifications based on project business goals. Write or review code for various applications Oversee junior web developers and evaluate them Serve as the primary contact and liaison for any third-party project vendors; identify integration points when they exist, document accordingly and plan risk mitigation accordingly Serve as the main point of contact throughout all project phases - design, planning, implementation, integration and deployment Quickly assess any existing or potential areas for problems, identify their root causes and outline available solutions then take appropriate action to resolve, mitigate and/or escalate before they become problems Ensure project documentation is up to date Stay up to date on the latest technology trends and solutions Qualifications Work experience as a Senior Web Developer Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Javascript, NodeJS, Contentful, Gatsby and/or PHP Senior knowledge of industry best practices such as Service Oriented Architectures and design Strong ability to analyze business requirements quickly to determine and assess feasibility Advanced ability to propose alternative solutions and cost-benefit analysis Proven experience in defining the tools and technologies used to implement large-scale solutions Understanding of security practices Team management expertise Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills Excellent English written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree preferred Benefits : Competitive salary Friendly atmosphere Good work/life balance Engaging projects Supportive management Downtown office location Hybrid working model and…
