About the Role

We are seeking a Web3 Market Analyst to research cryptocurrency markets, evaluate blockchain projects, and develop insights that support client strategy and business decisions. You will monitor ecosystem developments, analyze market and on-chain data, and assess emerging Web3 business models. Working with consulting colleagues and relevant stakeholders, you will turn research into clear reports, presentations, and recommendations. This remote Singapore-based role welcomes applicants whose crypto knowledge comes from professional work, substantial independent research, or practical Web3 experience.

What You'll Do

• Research cryptocurrency markets, blockchain ecosystems, DeFi protocols, and emerging Web3 products.

• Evaluate project fundamentals, token economics, adoption, governance, competitive positioning, and material risks.

• Monitor market activity, liquidity, token unlocks, ecosystem developments, and changes in user behavior.

• Analyze on-chain and market data, distinguishing meaningful trends from short-term speculation and promotional claims.

• Prepare research briefs, dashboards, market updates, and presentations that explain findings and their business implications.

• Collaborate with consulting colleagues to connect research with client questions, operational improvements, and strategic opportunities.

• Maintain organized research records, validate sources, and review previous findings as new information becomes available.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in market research, data analysis, financial services, or Web3; substantial independent research and personal projects will also be considered.

• Practical understanding of cryptocurrency markets, wallets, exchanges, blockchain transactions, and decentralized applications.

• Familiarity with token economics, DeFi concepts, market liquidity, and common digital asset risks.

• Experience using Excel or Google Sheets and research tools such as CoinGecko, DefiLlama, Dune, or blockchain explorers; SQL or Python skills are advantageous.

• Strong analytical judgment, curiosity, and attention to detail, including the ability to assess sources and challenge assumptions.

• Clear written and verbal English, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

• A degree in business, economics, finance, data analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through research samples or project work.

Compensation

Proposed base salary: SGD 90,000 - SGD 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
