Summary
SPARGO is seeking a Website Content Administrator and Marketing Specialist to manage event websites and support digital marketing initiatives for medical, scientific, and healthcare conferences and exhibitions.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor with excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technology. This role supports website content management, email marketing, marketing automation, and event marketing campaigns. Experience with content management systems, HubSpot, or email marketing platforms is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Add, edit, format, and publish content across multiple event websites.
- Maintain exhibitor, sponsor, and attendee-facing pages, ensuring information is accurate, current, and user-friendly.
- Review websites for broken links, outdated content, formatting issues, and overall quality.
- Create and maintain content supporting exhibit sales, sponsorship opportunities, and exhibitor resources.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, event management, registration, housing, and client teams to keep website and marketing content up to date.
- Manage multiple projects and website updates while meeting deadlines.
- Assist with the creation, deployment, and reporting of marketing email campaigns.
- Support digital marketing initiatives, including audience segmentation, list management, content development, and marketing automation.
- Help drive attendee registration, exhibitor participation, and sponsorship sales through digital marketing efforts.
- Monitor website and email performance metrics and provide reporting as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (World, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new software and technology platforms.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with website content management, digital marketing, communications, or event management.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS).
- Experience with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools.
- HubSpot experience a plus.
- Basic HTML knowledge.
