Introduction:

We're looking for a curious, detail-oriented student to join our Marketing team and help improve our digital presence. Our website is often the first way retailers, partners, and future employees experience Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, and we want it to clearly reflect who we are and what we do.

In this role, you'll own a project reviewing our web content and user experience, and you'll work with teams across the business to gather insights and turn them into clear recommendations. You'll also support day-to-day website content work, gaining real-world experience in digital marketing and web content management.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Website content review: Review website content and user experience to identify opportunities to improve usability, accuracy, and consistency, and deliver prioritized, actionable recommendations to your manager.
  • Website functionality: Help review links, navigation, forms, and overall site functionality, along with messaging and brand, to build a complete picture and suggest improvements.
  • Stakeholder engagement support: Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather feedback and requirements for ongoing projects.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Schedule meetings, take notes, and document business requirements for team review.
  • Content development and maintenance: Help update, organize, and optimize website content for accuracy and brand alignment.
  • Marketing support: Support ongoing website and digital initiatives by documenting content requirements, flagging improvement opportunities, and helping plan and track project work.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work on-site at our Durham, NC headquarters at least one day per week; two days in-person preferred.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with a content management system (CMS), such as WordPress or a related tool, or willingness to learn.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Working knowledge of how websites function, including navigation, links, and forms, and familiarity with (or willingness to learn) accessibility and user experience (UX) best practices.
  • Solid business acumen, with an understanding of how a website supports marketing, sales, and customer goals.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review large amounts of content, spot inconsistencies, and structure findings into clear, prioritized recommendations.
  • Strong creativity and an eye for design, with the ability to bring fresh ideas to how content is presented online.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the confidence to set up meetings and gather input from teams across the business.
  • High level of curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship, coursework, or project experience in marketing, web content, or digital communications.
  • Basic design skills with Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Interest in learning how AI tools can improve documentation.
