Website Tester

Main purpose of the job: To test websites, layouts and website widgets built on iX's proprietary Engine 5/Smart Manager platform for the Websites team within the Pages Team. Key Responsibilities: Communicate well with team members to ensure internal website standards are met. Collaborate with the team for the most effective use of time. Adhere to scheduled project timings to ensure deadlines are met. Assist with front end debugging by using knowledge of HTML and CSS rendering and coding issues. Manage testing across a defined browser and device baseline (Chrome, Safari and Edge; Android and iOS) at desktop, tablet and mobile breakpoints to maximise the effectiveness of website testing. Log all defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots and device/browser details, and retest fixes (regression testing) to confirm resolution. Verify all website content for accuracy against the approved mockup/brief, including contact numbers, dealer details, links and forms. Remain current and informed on industry trends, new offerings and interactive technologies.
