About ENTSO-E

ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels provides support on technical, market and policy developments for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with EU decision-makers, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders.

At ENTSO-E, you will contribute to building the world’s largest integrated electricity market – impacting not only those in the energy sector but also Europe’s overall economy, today and in the future!

Job description

As Wellbeing & Prevention Advisor, you will join our People, Talent & Culture Section and contribute to creating a healthy, safe and engaging workplace for around 180 employees in a primarily office-based, white-collar environment.

You will act as ENTSO-E's Internal Prevention Advisor, ensuring compliance with Belgian health and safety requirements while also contributing to broader employee wellbeing, learning, engagement and inclusion initiatives.

This is a hands-on and varied People role, combining prevention and wellbeing responsibilities with coordination of learning initiatives, D&I and sustainability reporting, and internal employee engagement activities across our multicultural organisation.

You will work in the ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels, reporting to the Talent & People Development Manager.

Your responsibilities

Your tasks will vary depending on project priorities and may include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as the Internal Prevention Advisor (IPA) for our office, ensuring compliance, preparing documentation and reporting, managing the CPPT/CPBW meetings and follow-up actions, and contributing to the Business Continuity Plan.

  • Developing, updating, and implementing health, safety, and well-being policies, action plans, and risk assessments suited to an office-based working environment and in line with Belgian legal obligations and internal standards.

  • Handling individual health, safety, and well-being cases with discretion, supporting long-term absence follow-ups and sustainable reintegration paths.

  • Designing and coordinating health, safety, and well-being training modules alongside the L&D Coordinator, while supporting the general training catalogue and provider coordination.

  • Gathering and analysing HR data covering well-being, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), and sustainability to deliver actionable insights and reinforce the organisation’s Code of Conduct.

  • Leading and facilitating employee participation initiatives and organizing organisation-wide team activities, cultural gatherings, and community events (St Nicolas, Christmas Party, D&I Week).

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated professional with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant university degree with 6+ years of professional experience combining prevention, employee wellbeing, HR, workplace health and safety, or related responsibilities, ideally within an international or association environment.

  • Experience acting as a Prevention Advisor within a small to medium-sized, office-based organisation, together with an official Belgian Prevention Advisor certification (Level 3 or Level 2).

  • Strong practical knowledge of Belgian health and safety legislation and statutory reporting procedures.

  • High personal integrity and sound judgment, with full commitment to professional confidentiality.

  • Experience in coordinating or managing staff training programmes, events, learning initiatives, or external training providers is considered an asset.

  • Excellent command of English (written and oral); working knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a distinct asset given interactions with local authorities and external prevention services.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple deadlines with high integrity, empathy, and confidentiality.

  • Solid IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).

  • Motivation to work in a multinational and multicultural environment.

Our offer

At ENTSO-E, we put people at the centre of our mission. Joining us means:

  • Multicultural environment: Work with colleagues from over 30 nationalities in a diverse, inclusive and supportive team.

  • Work–life balance: Benefit from our hybrid working model (2 days/week in the Brussels office and remote work).

  • Continuous learning & development: Access training, workshops and professional growth opportunities tailored to your career path.

  • Competitive compensation & benefits: Market-aligned salary, comprehensive health insurance for you and your family (including hospitalization), travel insurance, pension scheme, meal and eco vouchers, annual bonus schemes, and a flexible benefits plan.
