WE’RE HIRING: HR SPECIALIST – U.S. OPERATIONS

📍 Location: Medellín, Colombia – Hybrid

🏢 Work Model: 3 days in the office + 2 days from home

🗣️ English: Advanced (C1 or equivalent)

💰 Salary: Based on experience

📅 Weekend Availability: One weekend per month, based on the client’s rotation

We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist in Colombia to support a U.S.-based client and their workforce.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with U.S. HR processes, excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to work independently while confidently interacting with employees, managers, and the client.

• Support day-to-day HR matters for the client’s U.S. workforce.
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries, document cases, and follow through to resolution.
• Coordinate with the client and internal teams regarding employee relations, attendance, leaves of absence, and other HR matters.
• Manage workers’ compensation injury intake, documentation, and claim follow-up through resolution.
• Identify potential issues early, recommend practical next steps, and escalate sensitive matters when appropriate.
• Provide coverage one weekend per month as part of the client’s rotation.

• Proven experience in HR supporting employees or clients in the United States.
• Knowledge of California HR practices is strongly preferred; experience supporting other U.S. states will also be considered.
• Advanced English (C1 or equivalent) with strong written, verbal, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong judgment, discretion, organization, and attention to detail.
