Sociolyze is looking for a sharp, self-driven Video Editor with strong motion graphics chops who can take raw footage and turn it into short-form and long-form content that actually stops the scroll. This isn't a role for someone who slaps on captions and calls it done. We want someone who understands pacing, hooks, retention, and how to make every second of a video earn its place.

What You'll Own:

Edit short-form and long-form content for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

Design motion graphics, animated text, transitions, and visual effects that lift the story

Cut raw stage, keynote, podcast, and interview footage into high-retention clips

Handle color grading, sound design, and final polish

Manage your own timeline and deliver on deadlines without hand-holding

Bring creative ideas to the table, not just execute briefs

What You Bring:

4+ years of professional video editing and motion graphics experience

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

Strong grip on pacing, hooks, retention structure, and platform-native editing

Real understanding of short-form video mechanics for LinkedIn, Reels, TikTok, and Shorts

Ability to match established brand voice while pushing creative direction forward

Clean, organized project files and tight version control

Bonus If You Have:

Experience editing stage footage, keynotes, podcasts, or founder-led content

Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, CapCut Pro, or Final Cut Pro

Motion design skills in Figma or Illustrator

Experience with AI editing tools (Descript, ElevenLabs, Runway)

Tools You'll Use: Adobe Premiere Pro | After Effects | Photoshop | Illustrator | DaVinci Resolve | Frame.io | Slack | Notion
