Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a U.S based Accountant (CPA/CA) to work on a contract basis. The role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting standards, and supporting client financial operations. This position requires expertise in U.S. GAAP and experience with financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.

• Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Assist with tax compliance, including preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CPA or CA certification with U.S. accounting experience.

• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP and experience with financial reporting requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms).

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and internal teams.
