Wholesale & Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist
Talent HackersJob Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Wholesale & Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist to manage and maintain our wholesale and ecommerce channels across Faire, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, and other marketplace platforms.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can step in immediately without needing to be taught the basics of these platforms. You should already understand how to set up and manage a Faire storefront, manage Amazon Seller Central listings, maintain product data, and identify potential issues before they become problems.
Our company is a fast-growing U.S. protein ice cream brand selling direct-to-consumer through Shopify and Amazon FBA, while expanding into wholesale. You’ll work directly with the founder and a small team, with the opportunity to take ownership of the role and contribute ideas as the business grows.
Core Tasks
- Manage the company’s Faire wholesale storefront, including reviewing incoming buyer orders and researching buyers.
- Identify and flag buyers who appear to be Amazon resellers rather than legitimate retail/wholesale accounts.
- Set up and maintain the company’s RangeMe profile and other wholesale marketplace listings.
- Manage and maintain Amazon Seller Central product catalogs, including listing accuracy, product content, and product information.
- Keep product information, SKUs, descriptions, and other product data accurate and consistent across Shopify, Amazon, Faire, and other wholesale channels.
- Monitor marketplace accounts and proactively identify issues such as incorrect listings, suspicious orders, inconsistent product information, or inventory discrepancies.
- Research and resolve marketplace-related issues as they arise.
- Help maintain clean and organized product data across all sales channels.
- Proactively communicate potential problems and recommend solutions before they impact the business.
Must-Haves
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing ecommerce, marketplace, or wholesale platforms.
- Hands-on experience with at least 3 of the following:
- Faire
- Amazon Seller Central
- Shopify
- Walmart Marketplace
- eBay
- TikTok Shop
- RangeMe
- Strong understanding of how to manage product listings, catalogs, SKUs, and product information across ecommerce/marketplace platforms.
- Demonstrated experience researching buyers, orders, listings, or marketplace activity and identifying potential issues or risks.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership without needing step-by-step instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or problems proactively.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Reliable, responsive, and able to communicate proactively with a small, fast-moving team.
- Comfortable working directly with company leadership and making recommendations.
- Able to provide specific examples of what you personally managed on each platform, rather than simply stating that you are “familiar” with the platform.
- Available to work 20 hours per week initially, with potential for additional hours as the workload grows.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working with CPG, food, beverage, supplements, nutrition, or other consumer product brands.
- Experience managing products across both DTC and wholesale channels.
- Experience with Amazon FBA.
- Experience identifying and preventing unauthorized Amazon resellers or marketplace sellers.
- Experience managing multiple sales channels and keeping product data synchronized across platforms.
- Experience with RangeMe and wholesale buyer platforms.
- Experience working with a startup or small, founder-led company.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to spot trends, discrepancies, and operational issues.
- Experience suggesting process improvements or new marketplace opportunities.
