Power Your Purpose. Join Our Team. About the role As a Wind Technician I at our Prairie Rose site, you’ll support scheduled maintenance, unscheduled repairs, and inspections on wind turbines. This role is ideal for entry-level technicians with mechanical aptitude who are ready to grow their careers in the renewable energy sector. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians while developing your skills in a safe, hands-on environment. What You’ll Do: Assist with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities Support experienced technicians with troubleshooting tasks Document all service activity and parts usage using digital reporting tools Participate in daily safety briefings and enforce LOTO procedures Communicate issues and solutions to site leadership Coordinate with Inventory Control to ensure proper supply of parts and consumables Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation as needed Qualifications / Requirements: 1+ years of mechanical, technical, or military experience Wind industry exposure or technical school certification preferred Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments Valid driver’s license Willingness to travel for training or to assist other project sites Eligibility Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship Must pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening Physical and Environmental Requirements: This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in variable weather conditions. Strict adherence to all safety protocols is required. Travel: Occasional travel may be required for training or inter-site support.
