Plan and architect new systems and major changes or updates to systems that are resilient. Expert in the areas of recommending new technologies, new applications and the future of home-grown applications and technologies for business use. Manage and help implement large and complex hardware and software projects. Provide expert level advice for troubleshooting, solving complex problems and limitations. Understand the architecture and data flow of various interconnected systems. Find solutions that improve both the business and technical users experience and productivity. Lead disaster recovery architecting, planning, implementation, and testing. Quickly escalate issues with vendors and management to reduce impact. Excellent understanding of Mouser’s applications and systems architecture along with the use of business technology within each department and its impact to the business. Always aware of Mouser’s key and strategic business initiatives and understands the need to provide our customers and suppliers the highest level of service. Provide technical analysis and innovative ideas for the design and architecture of scalable and reliable business solutions. Possess extensive knowledge of network, hardware, scripting, operating systems, and application software. Excellent technical intuitive capabilities and understands how to integrate other systems, applications, and hardware to provide technology rich stable solutions. Foster a positive attitude, good team environment. Possess good mentoring skills, manages “up”, and takes initiative where and when necessary. Conduct oneself with professionalism and effectively communicates with all levels of staff including company executives. Expert level knowledge of 2 or more key technologies Server administration, server virtualization, server OS, networking, or security. Able to build effective relationships with business associates. Good performance monitoring skills, including providing management with various reports showing systems and application KPI’s. Windows Server environment/architecture experience required. Experience working in Cloud or Network technologies as an engineer. Experience providing technical expertise in a Cloud Engineer level role. Multiple certifications in desktop or server virtualization, server OS, networking, security, or applications. This is a summary of the primary accountabilities and requirements for this position.
