Wireless Network Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Wireless Network Engineer to join a growing organisation focused on Industrial IoT. You will help design, test and deliver private 5G, Wi‑Fi and other advanced wireless solutions for factories, plants and industrial environments.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who understands RF, wireless networking and cellular technologies at a deep level and who can turn that knowledge into reliable products. You will work with engineering, product, business, customer and R&D teams to develop connected solutions that improve how industrial operations run.
Key responsibilities

Design and develop advanced wireless user equipment for Industrial IoT applications, using existing antennas, transceivers and other RF components.

Lead the technical development of wireless and cellular networking products.

Create test plans, run simulations and carry out lab and field tests to validate wireless performance.

Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve complex RF, Wi‑Fi and cellular-network issues.

Work on private 5G, Wi‑Fi and other wireless technologies used in industrial environments.

Collaborate with engineering, product, business, customer, commercial marketing and R&D teams to deliver complete Wireless IoT solutions.

Work with Product Management and strategic partners to turn business and customer needs into practical technical solutions.

Evaluate new technologies, tools and industry trends in Industrial IoT, 5G, Wi‑Fi and networking.

Travel up to 10% of the time.
Ideal candidate profile
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, preferably with a focus on wireless communications.

At least 5 years of experience in network engineering area.

Experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting wireless networks.

Background in high-complexity networking solutions, network implementation strategies and IT/OT convergence.

Strong knowledge of wireless standards and protocols, including IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi‑Fi 6/6E/7, channel bonding, OFDMA, MU‑MIMO and roaming standards 802.11r/k/v.

Strong knowledge of cellular technologies and core-network concepts, including EPC, 5G Core, 5G NR, NSA/SA, LTE, LTE‑Advanced, carrier aggregation, dual connectivity and network slicing.

Strong practical background in wireless-network testing and validation.

Hands-on experience with test and RF tools such as traffic generators, channel emulators, spectrum analysers, signal generators, Wi‑Fi analysis tools and packet-capture tools.

Solid understanding of RF and wireless/cellular principles in Industrial IoT environments.

Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
