Wordpress Developer

Azaan Business Palace FZCO is looking for a skilled WordPress Developer who understands the complete website development and management process and can implement content and design layouts provided by our team. This role requires hands-on technical ownership of websites, hosting, domains, email systems, and integrations

Note: This is a full-time permanent role, not a freelancing position.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development

• Manage, maintain, and update WordPress websites based on provided content and design layouts.
• Implement custom website sections using Elementor and Avada Live Builder.
• Handle WordPress customization, themes, plugins, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve website-related technical issues and performance problems.
• Coordinate with the content team during website revamps, updates, and ongoing maintenance.

Website, Hosting & Technical Management

• Manage website hosting, domains, DNS settings, and related configurations across different hosting providers.
• Set up and manage business email accounts and email services connected to company domains.
• Configure and troubleshoot email integrations with Google Workspace (Gmail) and other business email platforms.
• Manage SSL certificates, renewals, installation, and basic security-related configurations.
• Troubleshoot common website, hosting, DNS, email, SSL, and domain-related issues.
• Handle website migrations, domain pointing, hosting configuration, and basic server-level requirements when needed.
• Coordinate technical configurations between hosting providers, domain registrars, email platforms, and website environments.
• Ensure websites, domains, email systems, and related integrations remain functional and properly configured.
• Strong understanding of responsive design across devices, including diagnosing and resolving layout inconsistencies between mobile and desktop views.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to speed up debugging, code generation, and documentation — a plus, not a core requirement.
• Manage website backups, restore points, and basic security measures (malware scanning, update management) to safeguard against data loss or breaches.

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or relevant field (mandatory)

Required Skills & Experience

* 2+ years of relevant experience in WordPress Development, Web Management, or a similar role.

* Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, Elementor, and Avada Builder.

* Good understanding of website hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and email configurations.

* Experience working with multiple hosting providers and domain/hosting platforms, not limited to a single provider.

* Practical experience with Google Workspace/Gmail integration, business email setup, and troubleshooting.

* Strong understanding of website structure, layouts, responsive design, plugins, and basic troubleshooting.

* Ability to independently diagnose and resolve common website and hosting-related technical issues.

* Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

* Ability to manage multiple websites/projects and meet deadlines.

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
