You Are
As a Workday Financials Functional Consultant, you will help deliver mission-critical company directives by designing, developing, and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages. You will combine consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environments and achieve business results. You will collaborate with teammates and product leads in a remote role that can be located anywhere within the Philippines.
The Opportunity
- Project leadership: Participate in and/or lead specific Workday FIN projects.
- Requirements and design: Work independently with stakeholders and a multidisciplinary team to define requirements and develop the solution, including functional design and specifications.
- Reporting: Design and develop complex FIN reports.
- Integrations: Help Integrations teams design and build integrations of all types.
- Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of the solution.
- Vendor and cross-functional work: Work with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors on discovery and design sessions, as needed, and engage independently with third-party vendors as needed.
- Continuous learning: Stay relevant to emerging trends in Workday and related areas, working in an open environment where creativity is welcome and encouraged.

What You Need
Role Location: Ontario, Toronto
Compensation Range: 182,228 - 238,299 CAD
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.

What You Need
- Current Workday Partner Certification in Financial Suite; Financial Accounting is a plus.
- Certification in FIN Core is required.
- Sound understanding of one or more Workday functional modules; experience in any other functional module is desirable.
- 3+ years implementing Financial, Procurement, and/or Expense Management solutions.
- CPA and/or advanced accounting degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous consulting experience with a consulting or software company.
- Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, or similar applications.
- Demonstrated project management experience and ability to manage against timelines and goals.
- Business analysis and requirements-gathering abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
- Experience deploying multiple financial projects simultaneously is a plus.
- Expected travel is +/-25%, depending on project(s).
