Summary
We are seeking a Workday Integration Developer / Technical Analyst with hands-on experience developing and supporting Workday integrations and reporting solutions. This position will support Workday integrations, reporting, security, deployments, and production operations while partnering with HRIS functional teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other technical teams. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of Workday/HRIS technical experience and hands-on knowledge of EIB, Workday Web Services, APIs, Reporting, and Calculated Fields. Experience with Workday Studio and Cloud Connect is highly desirable. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-to-mid-career Workday technical professional who wants to deepen their expertise across integrations, reporting, security, troubleshooting, and emerging technologies such as Workday Extend.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations.
- Build and support integrations using:
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Workday Web Services
- APIs
- Cloud Connect
- Workday Studio
- Develop and maintain Workday reports and Calculated Fields.
- Utilize the Workday Reporting Platform and Workday Report Designer.
- Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Support Workday Security configuration and associated technical documentation.
- Prepare and execute migrations across Sandbox, Preview, and Production environments.
- Follow established deployment, change-management, and development procedures.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Schedule and monitor integrations and reports.
- Configure notifications for integration failures and operational events.
- Investigate integration failures, data discrepancies, and performance issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and help prevent recurring production issues.
- Work with HRIS functional teams and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and other technical teams to resolve integration and platform issues.
- Develop and maintain technical designs, specifications, support documentation, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in peer reviews, testing, and technical knowledge-sharing.
- Stay current on Workday releases and evolving integration/reporting capabilities.
- Develop knowledge of Workday Extend and other emerging Workday technologies.
Experience You'll Need
- 2–4 years of HRIS or Workday technical experience.
- Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, or troubleshooting Workday integrations.
- Experience with Workday EIB.
- Experience with Workday Web Services/APIs.
- Experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields.
- Understanding of integration technologies including:
- XML
- XSLT
- XPath
- JSON
- REST APIs
- SOAP Web Services
- Experience troubleshooting technical and production issues.
- Understanding of testing, deployment, and change-management processes.
- Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail when working with sensitive HR data.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
