About us
We're Project Lary, a team of product, tech, and design specialists based in Munich and Berlin. Since 2019, we’ve been turning complex business processes into digital solutions, from the first idea through to reliable operation.
We build web and mobile apps, B2B e-commerce platforms, AI applications, and integrations for mid-sized businesses and enterprises. We are ISO 27001 certified.
Your role
Work on real client projects and grow your full stack engineering skills alongside experienced developers, product managers, and designers. You’ll contribute across frontend and backend, understand the problems behind your tasks, and gradually take on more responsibility with support from your team.
AI is part of our everyday workflow. We use tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Devin, and Lovable depending on the task, and regularly experiment with new approaches. You’ll learn how to use these tools effectively while taking responsibility for the software you ship.
What you’ll do
Build and improve web applications across frontend and backend, using technologies such as React, Vue, Node.js, Python, and PHP.
Work closely with product and design to understand user needs and turn them into useful, reliable features.
Use AI coding assistants to explore solutions, implement features, debug issues, and learn unfamiliar technologies.
Review and test your changes, including AI-generated code, to make sure they work throughout the user flow.
Contribute to code reviews, deployments, and improvements to our development and AI workflows.
Communicate progress, questions, and blockers early, and take ownership of increasingly complex tasks.
What you bring
You’re studying computer science or a related field.
You have hands-on experience building software through personal projects, university projects, internships, or previous work.
You have practical experience in both frontend and backend development—for example, building interfaces with React, Vue, or Angular and developing APIs and working with databases using Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar technologies.
You’ve experimented with AI coding tools and want to make them an effective part of your development workflow.
You want to understand the code you ship: you question suggestions, investigate unexpected behaviour, and check that your solution works.
You communicate openly, ask for help when needed, and actively seek feedback.
You care about how people use your software and enjoy suggesting improvements.
Nice to have
Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms, or CI/CD.
Experience collaborating through Git and code reviews.
German language proficiency.
What we offer
Hybrid work from Munich or Berlin, with up to 50% home office and flexible working hours around your studies.
Fair remuneration based on your experience.
A latest-generation Mac and access to current AI tools of your choice.
An annual budget for professional development, including relevant memberships, certifications, and conferences.
Paid vacation adjusted to your working days.
An annual team workation and monthly team events, from BBQs and board games to bowling and Oktoberfest.
A daily meal subsidy of €7.23 and a choice of Wellpass or a Deutschland-Jobticket.
A small, results-oriented team with direct communication, few meetings, pair programming, code reviews, and active knowledge sharing.
Offices in lively neighbourhoods: Maxvorstadt in Munich and Neukölln in Berlin.
The opportunity to continue in a full-time role after your studies if it’s a good fit for both sides.
Interested?
Send us your CV and tell us about something you’ve built, ideally using AI. A repository, demo, or a few sentences are enough—we’d love to hear what you contributed and learned. No cover letter needed.
