Are you interested to experience and shape the transformation of the automotive mobility sector towards a low-carbon, and sustainable future? Are you a technically and environmentally interested and dedicated person? Then take the chance and apply at AVL! The position is for 15 until 20 hours per week.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will support our team in internal, national and European research projects involving all kinds of mobility technologies for all transport modes.
• Multiple research activities about sustainability aspects like e.g. life cycle analysis, product environmental footprint, circular economy, digital product passports will also be part of your daily work.
• Together with the team you will research and build-up know-how on cradle-to-cradle, covering all life cycle phases and the entire value chain from raw materials through production, use-phase, to recycling.
• Supporting our team in performing life cycle analysis (LCA) by researching and collecting input parameters, SW modelling, performing sensibility studies will be another task of your work.
• Moreover, you will assist in performing studies on all kinds of sustainability aspects.
• Together with your colleagues you will create documentation and presentation of the results.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Ongoing bachelor's program at the TU/UNI/FH with a focus on environmental and system sciences, energy and environmental technology, chemistry, process engineering, production engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field with an interest in technical content
• Basic understanding of automotive powertrains and value chains as well as environmental assessments
• Interested, committed, independent and team-oriented personality
• Fluent English and German
• Knowledge of MS Office and internet research
• Excellent communication skills, as well as a reliable and responsible personality

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €42,137.20. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
